Enough is said. I purchased three of these and use them to align companion flanges on HVAC ductwork. They do a good job of pulling corners and aligning bolt holes. I use a sheet metal setting hammer or a two-and-a-half-pound beater to set the pins (I prefer the beater for quarter-inch and larger pins). Although there is some mushrooming on the striking end, it is less than on Tekton pins. The blue paint will come off up to the point where you use the pin, which is to be expected. None of the three pins I have are bent; they all remain straight. If I have to buy anything else, these will be it.
This has been in my possession for a few weeks, and I've used it almost every day at work. It's a breeze to line up tdc connections on duct. I'm going to get a few more just in case.
As stated previously.
Did exactly what was asked of me. br>It's a tool that's used to take down and put up sights.
It was ideal for aligning bolts on a fender that were about to be reinstalled.
Tools made in the United States at prices that are competitive with Chinese competitors.
Recovers, but continues to work.
