Yes, there's no doubt that the unique design and strength of the tool can be used to pry loose any object. As soon as I watched the demonstration on YouTube and realized I needed it for walls and flooring, I purchased it.
It has an additional pry bar attached to the handle, the center wedge seems to be closed rather than open, and it's a few inches longer and slightly wider than most. This trim puller was designed to be used side to side (pulling the puller), while you would be hitting the back of it with a hammer mostly.
I can verify that this tool can be used with Gypsum board. It will work well since it features a large contact area and a wedge that will help get out the board. It is very rigid and has a sharp blade, which makes inserting it and removing it simpler.

However, no matter how many tutorials I watched or how careful I was, I had previously threatened to damage my walls or removed every piece of trim I attempted to remove. There really is nothing less than amazing about this tool. Taking out all the trim on a closet in a few minutes with no damage to the walls or trim was not a problem. It was the most amazing experience I have ever had. ensure you use a sharp exact knife to precut the caulk and that you have a hammer or mallet on hand before starting. An investment that is well worth the money. I have just edited the 3/2018 version As a result of using this tool, I was able to remove the trim and the carpet surrounding another closet. I've removed quite a bit of carpet in my day and I know how time consuming and painful it is to remove the tack strips and staples once the padding is on. I used this tool and the hammer this time, and I managed to get the tack strips up in no time at all. After I pry up the staples with the edge of the knife, I used my fingers to pry them up. I was very pleased with it. This is yet another great use for this.
When I saw others that were significantly cheaper, I had to really think twice before buying the tool for close to $30. The only thing I could think of to do was to remove approximately 60 linear feet of baseboards, rather than bending over and doing it myself. The removal of the object was swiftly accomplished with this tool. When I first bought the tool, I had a hard time understanding how the slanted square notch worked, but after using it, I understand that this is one of the things that set it apart from the cheaper models. With the notch, you can easily separate the baseboard from the wall by only having to hammer down one tool rather than having to wedge one between the wall and baseboard and pry it apart. I used it to remove the carpet tack down strips as a bonus Because the tool is wider than a crowbar, it was much easier to use than a crowbar.
In my experience, most people only review items after using them once or for a short period of time. However, after using it for a few months, the Trim Puller has proved to be much more useful than I expected! I had originally used this tool to remove the trim work on inside window frames and baseboard, and it did a great job. I was able to reuse the trim work, which saved me a good deal of time and energy. A coat of poly stain was applied to the money. It worked well to take up a few tackless carpet strips, but I did have to use a pry bar in a few areas, but for the most part, this tool did the trick safely without damaging the oak floors underneath The oak floors were covered with carpet! (Yes, you read that right, someone covered up the In another project, I used it to remove cedar shingles, which worked pretty well, pulling them both up at once. When installing new base cabinets, I used it to raise the cabinet to insert shims, I thought that it was a solid well built and designed product Designed tool that can be used for a wide range of tasks, not just trim work, and belongs in every DIY kit This is a carpenter's tool chest. You can reduce the noise with this trick. It's quite pricey for something that's meant to be used by hand. However, there's just one negative aspect to this. In terms of quality, it is powerful and well-made, as well as sturdy enough for removing nails, trim, or nailed pieces in the course of demolition. There have been some complaints about the horrible metal-looking logo When hammering it into crevices, it makes a metallic noise. It seems that the best method I have found to reduce noise while tugging on trim pullers is to apply foam weatherproofing strips (the ones with adhesive on one side) to the surface of the puller where you are hammering. Take a look at the pictures! It's obvious that the foam tape will eventually get mangled and you'll need to replace it every so often. For an example of stick foam insulation, see.
The reason I gave you a #1 rating was for you to read my For years, I worked as a contractor in the remodeling industry. I have found this to be the most useful tool I have ever used for removing trim. The edge of the trim is intact!.
For anyone who wants to remove trim without damaging it or their walls, this tool is an absolute must-have! There were no casualties during the removal of the 68 pieces.
It is a great product that allows you to salvage lumber that you may not have otherwise been able to salvage. There is a problem with the metal. It is not hard enough so that when you drive it between the boards and it hits a nail, the nail can really damage It is a neat design, but it is a poor quality tool that will not.
It only took me a few days to get my hands on this wonderful tool. As an initial point, it has a lot of weight. If you are careless with it, you may seriously hurt someone. I guess you need it for the job it is intended for- Please don't let the kids use it to play zombie apocalypse! Then, do the other side of the bottom cap.
You can score the edge where the baseboard meets the wall so that it separates cleanly. Hammer the business from one end to the other. The score is listed down where you made it. The rubber mallet was my only option, but it was quite loud in smaller rooms (or It's definitely a good idea to protect your ears! Using the tool spreads the gap as you hammer, thanks to a built-in separator. If the nails used to attach the baseboards are very long, you may need to wiggle the tool from side to side until the system works To remove the sheet from the wall, move the board to the side. You should continue separating the baseboard by running your hands along the length of You might still find nails attached to the board when you remove it. Take care to remove the nails carefully. In terms of price, the Zenith Industries Trim Puller is not cheap ($30 at time of writing), but is definitely worth it! You can also use it to remove carpet tacks, which reduces the price a little. It seems like the product will last forever, but given that just now I finished installing my new flooring, I hope I won't need to use it again for a while. Thanks to your tool, I was able to install my wooden flooring much more easily than with anything else! Jae
