Questions & Answers

Do you know where one can purchase replacement bolts for the knuckles? In the end, the device got lost after several attempts to get it apart.?

The email flyer for Tractor Supply's Black Friday sale yesterday prompted me to help myself to one of these marked down from $99 to $89 at the store, only for the district manager to tell me, "there is no such thing" and then tell me to check their website instead. The database lines said, "See, it has been deleted from our availability after the email yesterday.". delete this comment, I did not go to your website prior to my long trip to see the 59-dollar price. I apologize for not having done so before.

How would this work on pallets where boards need to be removed?

The model I'm looking for is not mine. A shorter version of this model is available to me. The model I'd like to purchase in the future would be To use, we must bend over, so it would be easier on the back if the bar was longer. After a few years, my claw broke or snapped off. The problem is that I went through a lot of pallets (for home The best option is to use this tool along with a heavy hammer. In this situation, having several options is helpful, i.e., I bought a pallet-specific tool designed so its use would work with perfect wood. If the wood had been cut off anyway because the planks would crack due to the nails, then that would be the better option You can use hard wood that has been dried.

The difference between the 18" flat bar and the 18" flat pry bar is Would you mind telling me what db18x is?

It is unclear what 2 items you are asking about because you only stated one part # of DB18X which is an indexing bar for renovations to flats.

This is great for six to eight people Nine months later, there will be an opening for nails
3/5

This type of prybar is just what I need. I have the 18-inch and two-foot versions, and I use them all the time to remove trim, pull nails, pry things apart in tight spots, etc. The indexing head is a great It feels a little sloppy and probably could use some reconsideration with tighter tolerances and better machining, but it works fine and the locking pins never failed on any of the three that I own. The only weakness is the slots one has to pull nails out. Once the slot gets bugged up after pulling a few hundred nails, the machine is incapable of pulling Once that happens, I need to bring an additional tool or two (hammer and/or various kinds of cat's paws) to deal with nails. I'm sorry to hear that. The head of this thing would be my top choice if it were made from better steel or if the nail slot was wider. This tool is for. Instead of having them in my tool cart, I have three of them sitting in a corner.

This is a well-made tool, but not great for pulling nails
3/5

When I purchased this, it looked like it would be great for pulling nails and I liked the fact that the handle actually felt soft. I used it for about four hours during a demolition project one day. Despite being well made, the part that holds under the head nail has worn out and will no longer hold on to I would recommend buying something else if you are using this product as a nail remover. It is easy to see how the steel spread two x fours that I removed nails from consisted about 150 pieces of two x fours, each of which had approximately 15 nails, so it did not make it through the entire stack. I would have returned it but it was too late to do so. I am writing with regards to Wally.

This is a great Tool that proves to be very versatile! Your inner Tim the Tool Man Taylor will be stirred! When I had to stop using it for my deck, it was almost impossible for me to do so
5/5

When I showed my siblings how well it worked, I pulled boards that were normal out just so they could see how well it works. My mistake was showing off this tool and it cost me more than I should have spent on replacing 8 boards! I also had to buy 12 boards to repair any damage this caused! It would have been better if I had charged my brothers for those You should buy it right now. This is an experience you won't regret. Keep in mind that you can only replace whatever you destroy with this.

I love how it is the perfect length and size to pull nails of larger sizes
5/5

My toolkit contains the Crescent deck wrecker device as well as hammers of various sizes and pry bars of the Wonder Bar type. Deck wreckers are good for prying up boards, but they lack the leverage to pull nails much farther out, and are too heavy or too big for use as just a nail puller. The hammers and wonder bars also lack enough leverage, so pulling big nails becomes difficult and slow. With this 30" bar, you can pull nails wider than your fingers and do a lot more prying than just pulling nails. A useful feature of the indexing is that it creates a list. The piece has all of the features I expected, and then some, and is extremely sturdy, I have no worries about it crumbling under heavy pressure. I found it to be an excellent demolition tool that met my needs The smaller version would also be beneficial if you only needed to pull small nails, but perhaps a 36" or 36" version (? This bar isn't as good as a flat Wonder Bar that costs less.

I have never seen anything like this! It takes a lot of crowbars to do most of the work I do
5/5

I have a dozen sizes of crowbars. Under the house, I recently had to remove a large number of subfloor boards that were damaged by termites. There was very little room, which meant that I had to continually adjust the claw angle, and it would have taken me twice as long without the articulating head. Initially, I believed it would fail due to the stress, but it did not. The one crowbar I would most like to have is this.

The design is excellent and the quality is excellent
5/5

With regard to demolition of a house or a room, I can see this tool being very useful. A number of claws can be adjusted to give you the right sized openings for grasping studs, pipes, and furniture. The broader the jaw spread, the more leverage you'll need. The handle length is a weak point in the design of this tool. There is room for a little bit more leverage if the time is longer. While I recognize the benefit of not having a longer handle on the tool, I believe it would be more efficient if it had one. Having an added length would make it more difficult to reach some areas that are tighter. A cheater pipe could be easily slid over the handle in case more leverage was needed If you want to avoid injury, ensure that you know the limits of the tool's strength versus its breaking point. This is so cool! Crescent, you did a fantastic job!.

The tool provided here is excellent
5/5

Every aspect of the product works as advertised. The tool provided here is excellent. Every aspect of the product works as advertised. The long nails can be easily pulled with this adjustable tool. To straighten the stud out, open the jaw to grab it, twist it to straighten it, and then nail it. Spinning the tool around and using the back end as a hammer is another nice use. In my opinion, it makes perfect sense to invest in the 24" model (to spend an additional $ over the 18") as it is long enough to use as a demonstration tool for breaking down plaster and drywall. The tool came with a few other tools I bought for doing a demo job, and I'm very pleased with them all. My wood trim has protected from damage and I saved hours by spending around $100 on this project. Consider these factors when you are setting up a demonstration job The following code is the crescent code The DB18X Crescent CODE RED nail puller has an 18-inch adjustable pry bar. You will need a pry For the renovator, this is an awesome tool
5/5

Pry bars and pry bars+ are what it is. Here is what the next generation of pry bars will look like. It provides what all bars do, but in a better way. This is not the best option if you want to save trim, but if you're careful you can pull it off.

Not exactly a tool for fine The multifunctionality and ease of handling make it an excellent choice for a beginner. One thing I don't like about the weight is its size. As compared to its traditional competition, it weighs around twice as much, but is more in keeping with those offered with more modern designs, like dead-bolt locks I haven't seen them in a long time. Definitely one of the best designed bars in the world today. An effort was made in this regard. I view the Stanley fubar as a useless toy merely for show and the dead to play with Using it regularly for a week will cause it to fail. me, I've already won (with an emphasis on the past tense). There is only one pry bar design that works in the modern world. For a contractor working on renovations, this is a great rating. The durability of this product on an I is unknown. Until I do that, I haven't taken it to one. There is too much involved to do on your own. The fact that it didn't have a lot of marketing impressed me especially. Rather than trying to sell the product, it lets the product do the talking. Contrary to its competitors, it does not just talk the talk.
