Questions & Answers

Are the head and neck connected 3/4 of the way? received my own, and it only has half the capacity. According to a video, the journey went 3/4 of the way. I would appreciate your assistance. ?

I checked mine and it goes halfway into the pallet, any further and it would be too wide. For the purpose of preventing them from going further, welded rods are in place. In the opinion of a person who thinks fixed feet are better, they crack more boards than they save, but are light. The reasoning behind the articulated feet is that they lift the board straight up. In that video the first board is being removed, but if you stand in front of the camera or have a friend stand on the pallet, you would have to remove it yourself. Step back from the pallet and push the tool handle away from yourself while standing there. I hope you found this helpful. If you're going to work with a tool that requires a certain amount of fineness, you'll have to practice a little first.

Can the tool fit between two boards with a minimum distance between them?

The height is just over 4 More likely to not fit is a gap between panels that is small compared to a gap that is large The only way to bypass that is to begin at one end (use something heavy and sturdy as leverage to get the first board out, then work your way toward the middle). A thin pallet cannot be attached to some pallets, as the stringers are too thick The pry bar and hammer might work if the nails are looser, but to use this tool the rest of the way, you may have to remove a few boards first.

Is this product similar to the non-prescription version and does it have a nail remover Do you have the deluxe edition?

It's not the best tool you can get for the job, but it's the best you can get.

Do you know of any fence panels that have been treated with this?

Although I am not sure what fence panels are made of, my brother in law loves the one I bought him to help him make furniture out of pallets. The tool keeps him from straining his back because he has a bad back, and it takes all of the work off of him.

This is a significant time saver
5/5

Incorporates the following The pallet buster could not have been a better purchase for me. Previously, I was using a combination of a saw, hammer, and crow bar and it took me probably 20 minutes to complete In less than 5 minutes I am able to completely breakdown most pallets by using the pallet buster. It normally takes 30 minutes to deconstruct a pallet with a screwdriver. In addition, and even more critical, I don't waste While I saw others say they were able to remove every slat of wood without damaging it, I couldn't. I would get frustrated and cut each piece short before. Now I don't have to compromise. When I can't get all of the slates apart on a pallet, that's rare. -**** It appears to be There is a certain amount of weight to it, but not to the point of being exhausting. The other option would feel cheaply made because it is not In the time since this review has been written I have taken apart about 15 pallets and no structural defects have been found. In spite of this, however, Take it from me, but don't believe my words. My love for this product led me to record a video showing how easy it is to use in two minutes. As well as the text, I have included a few pictures.

This is necessary for anyone who wishes to reuse pallets
5/5

Incorporates the following In the city next to mine, I have a neighbor who drives a delivery truck. As a result, he has met a lot of companies, made a lot of friends, and many of them offer him things that they cannot They came home one day with their truck loaded with pallets stacked as high as they could. After they cut through the nails with a saw over the next couple of days, they gave up and designed the garden boxes they would build in another way. After comparing the cost of the saw blades with the pallets it became inconceivable for us to justify the pallets. You can go from free to expensive in a matter of seconds! We needed another way to do this since we wasted 15 minutes cutting 3 boards each time, destroying our blades each time. Getting my Google hat out, I consulted it. Using pallet busters, foo discovered a whole new world. Among them were built-in ones, commercial ones, hydraulic ones, and even ones made by home builders. My next step was to search through Amazon. The articulating bottom on this buster makes it gentler on the wood and allows it to move as it needs to while still having the strength to break through the walls. It has been outside for at least 6 months on that pallet we initially used it on. Upon pulling it apart from a newer one, it pulled it apart much more easily. Cracks will continue to appear if the cracks are not repaired. So if your pallet is cracked in any place, it won't prevent it from becoming There is a good chance that a crack will It took us about 15 minutes to go from a full pallet to boards. During the whole process, I had to stand on one side of the pallet to keep it from raising up while my husband removed the boards. I am also super impressed with the quality of the pallets. The spaces required for the buster to fit become very small and it is difficult to start the first board without using the vertical pallet support. If anyone knows a way to do it without using the vertical pallet support, I would appreciate it! During lift-off, it needs the elevation from the board as a fulcrum and to press against it as it lifts the boards off. So, after unbolting the first board, we had to go between the boards to pull it out we also discovered that it worked best if we used it on the outside nails first and then pushed in from there. This is an amazing purchase that I'm so happy we made. We showed our neighbors and they are going to share the pallets as well as the buster with us. There is no doubt that this is a win-win situation. Anyone who wants to reuse pallet wood should definitely check out this beefy buster!.

It wouldn't be the same if we had THE BUSTER instead of the other way around! My home has a large open space on the upper floor, so I built an enclosure for my bedroom there
5/5

A friend of mine saw some cool pallet walls other people had built, and so I made one with pallets.
It was fairly easy to find and collect the pallets, but taking them apart proved to be a bit of a challenge. It is common for pallet builders to put them together using a screw shank nail and glue. As I was taking Mine apart, I used a Flat Bar and a Sawzall, which was enough to get the job done, but VERY TIME consuming.
As soon as I saw this Heavy Duty Pallet Buster, I knew it was something I would love The only choice I could think of was to get A better product that did the same job with half the effort, broke only a quarter of the pallet boards, and was very sturdy and rugged. The wood used for the pallets comes in a variety of types - Among the species of trees are pine, oak, poplar, hemlock, etc. The Oak pallets are the strongest and can be pryed apart using the Pallet Buster. Some of the lighter pine pallets will rip apart when pulled. Upon pulling the nails through the board, THE Buster will not break any of the nails. The best way to do things is to do them slowly and let them do their work*cheers! Item Class=Curt
