Questions & Answers

Are they likely to bend if you pry something and put over 200 pounds of body weight on them that way like Ludell digging bars?

First time I've had a bar, and I did my research before I bought it. There's a good chance it will be a good purchase. You can't go wrong with it. It did not bend even after I pushed it with my whole weight. The problem is, I only weigh 170 pounds.

Can you tell me how big the rod is? There seems to be no place to find this information. ?

The size of a quarter

If you try to pry up a rock, root etc., can you bend these bars? My HFT (China) and Luddell (India) bars bowed! Does this product contain steel from the United States?

As of this writing, I have not bent my Contractors have used it to pry out an auger that has become stuck in the ground, which is an impressive feat. If it bends, it's not expensive to replace, and a slightly bent pry bar (we call them Texas Toothpicks here) still works.

What is the difference between a pencil point and a diamond ?

Though it has been a while since I bought it, I think one of them is more expensive. (I'm not sure there is a distinctive difference between them. Since I ordered the Pencil Point, I guess it's the less expensive It is awesome to go to this bar. Several times, I have cut my way through Southern Arizona stone and rock to plant roses with it, and it does the job well.

Bulb planting doesn't get much easier than this! In my quest for the perfect tool for the job, I had to plant 100 narcissus bulbs in a bed of Asian jasmine and found a suggestion online to hammer a crowbar into the ground and stir it up
5/5

Instead of heading over to Amazon, I searched for some kind of pointy bar. Despite my ignorance, I am not sure what this is supposed to be used for, but I'm not aware of its intended use The label used as a bulb planter is a great idea! As it wasn't easy to maneuver, I stood up and let the weight of the bar do the work for me. It is fairly heavy and took a few stabs and twirls per hole but saved my back by staying up. *A word of caution Your water line is the first thing you need to know! Being much stronger than me, my boyfriend managed to hit the water line straight on after letting me do some stabs! During his work on the water line, I continued planting.

Absolutely beast
5/5

I was naive to think I could dig three holes without any assistance. Digging fence post holes with a regular digger and hand auger each takes about 4 feet of work. I did not realize my soil was a nightmare conglomeration of heavy clay, rocks, tree roots, and construction debris that was impossible to penetrate with any auger other than a skid steer's operated auger. With out this digger bar, I wouldn't have been able to get through one hole at a time. I used it exclusively sometimes, and at times it was the only tool that helped me make A tool like this needs to be heavy in order for it to function well. In addition to breaking rocks, shaving clay from post hole sides, chopping and slicing through tree roots and lifting more rocks, I also removed clay from post hole sides. It is one of my favorite tools. that sometimes the old-fashioned method of cutting things can be the most effective-in this case, cutting with a big, brute force pointy bar with a blade end.

The tool you can't live without
5/5

Digging holes for my fence posts is difficult where I live because I live on a steep slope with mainly clay, rocks, and marls. It took me a long time to find how to go about it. Because I had read other reviews, I decided to give it a try and I am so glad I have found it to be very effective. Over the weekend, I used it to dig two holes to install my washing line and was very pleased with the outcome! It is much more efficient than using a pick axe or shovel to get a perfect hole size. My petite frame thought it would be too heavy for it, but it was perfect. I find this to be an extremely useful My collection of tools is without a doubt one of the best. Thank you for posting it, I was looking for something like this.

Stainless steel is a solid choice
5/5

When it was on sale on Amazon, I purchased the 72" version for just over $30. I found it hard to beat that price, and it was delivered to my front While the weight of this unit is significant, it makes it easier to do its job when it comes to breaking up rocks and clay. Using this tool was the first time I've ever used it. Moving to an area where a spade couldn't reach made a huge difference in turning holes into niches for It has a lot of benefits and although it is heavy and gives a serious shoulder workout, it does the job very well and is incredibly useful. As it has a sturdy construction, I am certain I can use it for all types of lever issues as well as to move objects. The product is fantastic!.

A great thing to have
5/5

Getting this for moving rocks at my vacation property was a great experience. It was possible to move some gigantic rocks with this thing and I managed to lift This fulcrum is sturdy, hefty, and long enough to lift heavy objects with it while planting things in holes. It can be used with a fulcrum to lift A tool that is indispensable. Shipping was fast and efficient. I would definitely recommend this store.

There is no better tool for the job and it is the simplest! In the brushland to desert terrain of this area, my ground feels like bedrock
5/5

Although it is a good mixture of clay and sand, it is too hard to soak, the water just sits on top and drifts away without soaking in, The digging solution I discovered was awesome when I researched simple solutions for difficult soils. In fact, it breaks down difficult soil quickly and makes digging nearly as effective as if the soil had been tilled. Then there's the fact that it's a 6' iron bar weighing 17 pounds. In the near future, I don't see it breaking or wearing down. In the past this would take me hours to dig a small hole, but now I can dig one in no time at all In about half an hour, you can dig a hole as big as a swimming pool. It is a great tool that is easy to use!.

It is a great tool that I wish I had known about earlier
5/5

This is a great tool for digging in a variety of soil types. While I usually use the wedge side, I have used the point side on a large rock a few times, hitting it very hard and breaking it in two. It is less likely to be damaged by rock, clay, and roots by using This method allows for a nice deep and even post hole to be made. Using this method, I personally find it very gentle on my back, and it's a great way to build up my biceps.
(Also used it to pry up a large tree root from the ground and it was strong enough to hold the weight of my body). I can confidently say that this tool is a lifetime investment.

This is a great The weight (18#) of the tool was just right for me This digging bar is lightweight enough to be easily handled yet heavy enough to get the job done

I only wish it came with someone who could use it for me! The only way this product could be better is if it were delivered with someone to use it!.
