The metal stuff is great, but the plastic stuff could have been built better. For me, only the tweezers and metal spudger were of interest.
My machine opened boxes and cases with fine lines of joint. These items are such as watches for changing the batteries, smart phone cases, model rail road car joints to open the interior, etc. I selected this set because depending on the item to be opened, certain pry tools performed better than others. This has proven to be the case in my experience.
In short, yes. This is not an appropriate use and they were not designed for this I am using them but they are too small and unsuited to the

"Newertech" had a new pry tool called the "iSesam" that I purchased. The picture I took of the tool I bought will be added. Amazon has this product for sale and I purchased it online and it's working great! Yet, I am buying a new kit, one that I am not sure will come from China, and definitely not Delcast!.
Despite its plastic components, this kit has no value at all. Each time I've used one on its first use, it has broken. I've used three different ones on three different occasions. With these tools, you can compare the results.
The best of the best. As I wanted to upgrade my HP Pavilion laptop without damaging the case, this was the perfect solution. I used to use an HP with an aluminum case with a hard plastic bottom that had removable sides to access the disk drive This new one is not the While the machine may look nice, the case has a lot of plastic and there's no way to access it. anything, one had to remove the entire bottom cover of the laptop, which involved 20+ screws, hinge covers, etc. The bottom cover had to be pry open from retaining tabs numerous in number. I can imagine how easy it would be to break something and how bad the result would be. Marring the edges and finish on a serious basis. Having this tool set comes in handy in many situations. Tools are made of nylon and are nonmarking, tough enough to do the job but not too tough so they can give way if necessary. It only took me a few minutes to disassemble this piece, use this tool set, and the entire task went smoothly. A scratch or damaged part is nowhere to be found. It is impossible for me to overstate just how great this set is. In the long run, the tools should be durable enough to be used several times before they break, and several of them are similar, so if one fails, another one should do the trick. But even if they worked the one time, it would have been worth it both for the preventable damage to a new laptop as well as for its ease of use. This product is highly recommended to anyone who needs to tear open their mostly plastic machine. I will certainly repurchase the product if I need to do so.
The purpose of this "PRY TOOL REPAIR KIT" is to enable me to remove the Otter Defender rubber protective case from my iPhone In light of the fact that my fingers are not as strong as they were 50 years ago, especially when trying to pry off the Iphone case, the mini-cell phone has been an inconvenience It was very helpful to have the pry bars in the tool kit to pry out the Iphone. During that effort, I used a small amount of personal lubricant. The kit is great and I know I will carry it with me again after I need small durable tools to grab or remove small objects. I am now faced with the challenge of remembering where I put the kit so that when I need it I can find it.
This is an excellent product for an amateur who replaces batteries on various devices or for those who need to use the set as a spare. My toolbox just got a lot bigger with the addition of these. I agree with others that the nylon tools in this kit are likely to become worn out fairly quickly with everyday use. However, the metal tools are VERY well made, and those tweezers are amazingly sharp. It is likely that the tweezers will be the most useful item in this set for These holders will be perfect for holding tiny parts for soldering or those ridiculously small screws that end up in all sorts of awkward I like the feel and quality of this case. This is not an area of disappointment. All in all, this is a worthwhile purchase.
You're doing a good job. As a first set, it is great. I do not have something to compare it to. Assembling the Macbook Pro with this tool was simple. I really like the tweezers - they're very good! An excellent coating, sharp tips, and good alignment make this a very good product. Spudger has a tiny burr, but didn't scratch the work - Versatile metal scraper had a tiny burr, but didn't scratch the work With ultra fine sandpaper (600 and above), you might want to polish the edges. No burrs were present on the rigid metal pry. I might have to readjust my thinking about plastic parts, but this is what many of them are like. Stiff pieces and sharp points are the hallmarks of thicker pieces. I just fold it in half as it comes, and the elastic bands might wear out over time, but I keep mine folded in half anyway. A tight fit is achieved between the tools.
My life would have been so much easier without these. I always have the various pry tool on hand when I need to pull apart delicate electronics, and the fine-nosed tweezers become my main tool of choice. Do you tweeze? A method for getting screws into tight places. The flat metal tools also needed to be cleaned because the edges were stamped or something, so they had some spare metal on them that I scratched off with a nail file. The tweezers had some extra metal on them that I rubbed off with a nail file. Even so, it's well worth the price, and once you get the edges perfect you'll be delighted with these tools.
The dismantling process was easy with these and didn't result in any damage to the plastic shells of the remote control and video game controller. Pry tools seem to work just fine for simple tinkering. These are not the best sets on the market, and they probably could be better made. Although it works fine, the plastic composition isn't the best when applied leverage, one spudger deformed a bit when applied to a piece I intended to pry apart. There may be some long-term effects on these It's not the most expensive toolbox item, but it is inexpensive enough to replace if it wears.
