The tool is much better than the cheap retaining ring pliers I have, and it has a longer reach as well. An AC clutch removal and installation tool for a 2011 Honda Civic is included in this package. As a result of buying a lager Knipex tool due to mistaken information online (great tool, but too big), I was fighting with it. The coil assembly was able to be removed in an average of 30 seconds following the purchase of this tool. I believe it is well worth the investment since it is a lifetime quality tool that does not need to be replaced unless abused.

Using the clutch, I was able to remove the AC compressor from my daughter's 2012 Honda Fit without removing the clutch. I am currently studying for the SATs We could not get in with clip pliers with interchangeable tips because they were too long and too bulky. I was pleased with how they performed. The zip file has been zipped. Compared to the alternative, which would have been a new compressor and all the associated parts and labor to swap out an air conditioning compressor, this was a great deal of value.

The design is excellent. It is strong. It holds Circlips better than most other tools and holds them much longer. However, there is one con the joints bearing the share forged ends are sharp and could damage themselves or other surfaces since there is no protective sleeve. The fact that these tools have replaceable tips makes them significantly better than most others with interchangeable tips that I have seen before. I wish I had bought these years ago. I would strongly recommend it.
