I opened it and looked at it. The simple reason for sending them back is that they do not have sharp ends as pictured. Many other reviews have mentioned the same. It would have been better to listen, but he took the risk. You should not use it for auto upholstery if, as I am, you are doing all 4 seats on a Camaro restoration. As long as you only need a few to tighten up your seat cover or reattach it, then you should be able to use these. At least, I received what is shown in the picture. I hope this was helpful to someone else.
Ends that are dull. You may be fine with these for what you need. I picked them over another since they offered 1 day delivery, which was what I wanted. The problem I have is that they appear a bit pointed or sharp at the There are two flat ends on each of these. Thus, if you are using these hooks to hook easily accessible items together, this is not an issue. In order for me to clamp to the anchor, I have to pierce a stitch in the padding on the upholstery and then push the stitch together with the anchor in the seat. This is more difficult due to the dullness of these items. As it turned out, I already had better ones and only required a few. Compared to the one on the left, the one on the right has a sharp end and the one on the left doesn't. They are flat on both.

These galvanized half hog rings are perfect for creating bungee cords yourself.

It goes without saying that I have 1,000 of these in the box and none in the package. The worst part is that I also ordered 500 fence nails that appeared in the mixed-up pile with the hog rings, not in the smashed box. Just a few minutes ago, they were The other two packages delivered on that day were left under my carpet, where my orders are usually left. This doesn't sit well with me.
It is a good size to replace car seat covers and the foam. An assist hog ring plier is used to handle the ring.
After repairing the handle of my mazda 3 car seat, I used these to put it back together.
