My pavilion that I built last summer uses a few hundred 16"x16" pavers. I bought these tongs to put the pavers into place. Even though it was backbreaking work, the tongs made it three times easier than placing them directly with your hands. Occasionally, I had to rearrange pavers so that more sand could be added or some of it removed to level them. It's hard to do that without In case you are planning a project of that kind, these would be a good resource. When you see what I mean, you'll know exactly what I mean.
I am satisfied with the These blocks are made of 115 lb weights, and I purchased them to build a retaining wall. As large as the lifting blocks I am lifting, I have not seen any reviews or questions about these lifting blocks. So far I've lifted about 150 large blocks with this tool, and so far the tool has held up really well. I'll finish the wall when I've lifted 200 blocks. Overall, I am very satisfied with the purchase and believe it is a great back saving device at an excellent price. I have 540 more blocks to set, and I will update this review if they fail.
For the past 22 years, I've been a mason. Basically, I live by the MARSHALLTOWN brand because the TROWEL 16510 16 x 26-inch tires are the only ones that I buy Brick Tongs are durable, heavy duty, and will not break due to the welding. It is a good idea to wear the tongs until the rust separates them. (A typical 5 year life is normal.
Using this tool, I was able to lay pavers on the patio faster and with less effort. Pavers measuring 16 inches square were placed exactly where I wanted them, and they could be lifted out and rearranged as needed It's time to level out those few pavers who won't cooperate. I wasn't forced to tip them into place because it made it easy to place them level.
It is good for lifting a few bricks, and it can be adjusted very easily. There is one major problem. It won't work for 2x2' tile decks (3/4" tiles). The steel is too thick to fit between the tiles because the spacing is so narrow. It was never used by my installers.
My preferred picker got the job done by picking curbstones, pavers, and even the heavy cap of a retainer wall. The grip is very strong. This hat can be easily shortened or shortened to fit different sizes.
It is perfect for handling and placing tiles simply because it is so sturdy. We use it to move 16x16 pavers. The price hasn't been paid yet, but it has already started to pay for itself.
In addition to donating over 5,000 bricks to Habitat, I also loaded this gadget with bricks. I found it to be a good solution. Nothing to worry about. I would only be able to hold nine bricks instead of 10, so that was OK. As if she had lost a lot of The price was well worth it.
