I'm guessing they're referring to a credit card offer where you can get one for free? Otherwise, I would not have ordered this if it hadn't been approved!
It's not really made for tile work. Adding more bricks jobs that are in the block format Spreading the tile mastic requires the use of a notched trowel. The notch size is determined by the amount of money spent on the type of adhesive and the size of the tile; for subway tile, I usually use a premixed glue with the smallest notch (which looks like a wavey line on the edge). ) If you're working on a large project, such as a bath or shower, you'll want to brush up on your tile skills. YouTube has a large number of videos.
The long sides are 5 inches long, and the front short side is 2 inches long.

It can be used to mix almost anything, apply almost anything, or scoop almost anything. and so on. br>br>A couple of things - If you're ordering this, I'm sure most of you already have scrapers. Hold the trowel on a hard flat surface and scrape away from yourself to try to remove the sticker as best you can. After that, apply goo gone and leave it to sit for a minute or two before wiping it away. If you don't keep your trowels clean, they'll rust. Steel corrodes in every way. Purchase some regular wd- 40 or minwax/sc johnson paste wax (both of these are far superior to mineral oil) and simply wipe on and wipe off *something* to protect the blade while storing it. Even a cheap blade can be made to last if you use it with a bucket of water nearby to keep it from caking up.
Under the tang, where it is welded, there is a high/low spot. After welding, the high-end models are smoothed out. But the main issue was that the first one had a deep nick on one edge halfway down, causing a line when trying to smooth cement/grout, etc. The replacement, on the other hand, was fine and defect-free except for the bump by the tang. Aside from that, the handle angle and blade provide excellent balance. For mixing mortar and grout, as well as concrete patches, the blade is thick. I can live with this trowel for my amateur mason use because it's good for transferring small amounts of material to corners or buttering small tile.
I've been using this margin trowel on commercial masonry projects, ranging from concrete to block work, almost every day for the past six months. It did a fantastic job! It took a beating from me cleaning it with a hammer or, on rare occasions, a grinder, and coworkers couldn't believe the price. When I lost it on a website, it was still in excellent condition: (Now I'm on my way back to get another!).
It has a very comfortable handle and was the perfect size for smoothing the compound under a door threshold where two adjacent floors created a slight height difference. Because there was limited space, I used a small trowel to work the compound into the edges and under the door frame. Its forms made smoothing a breeze. It's of excellent quality. It's going to stay in my concrete-filled basement. For many years, I've had a tile tool box. I'm very pleased!.
On a recent 12x24 tile job, it came in handy to clean up the mortar after each row of tile was laid; the 1/2" x 1/2" x 1/2" trowel was sometimes difficult to handle in tight areas, and this smaller tool really helped. The price is extremely reasonable.
This is my first time using a cement trowel of this type. It's a very nice piece, and it's well constructed. It was light and easy to handle, with a well-balanced weight. That being said, I wish I had a better understanding of what I was doing! Hhaah, I'd definitely consider this company for similar products in the future.
It worked well, was easy to clean up, and was ideal for a homeowner who wanted to do a small concrete project or lay pavers in the sand.
Very good quality. I used it several times and it only rusted slightly when I left it outside for several days. It should last a long time if kept dry and inside at night, and it is easy to clean. br>br>Would buy again without a doubt.
