This trowel would be a lot easier to use than a rectangular one if you're using it to "knock down" sprayed-on texture. I used mine to "float" a patch on the surface of my inground pool, and it worked perfectly.
Because the rounded edges leave fewer marks, we use it instead of applying cement and lime-based plaster. For the corners, you'll need something with a square corner.
These are used to make cement and lime-based plasters. Less marks are left by the rounded ends. For corners, you'll want to use a square trowel.
Yes. For texture, it depends on how you use it.

It was an excellent solution. This was exactly what I needed for a project where I was creating stone texture stamped concrete step stones. So far, I've only used it for one project, so I can't comment on durability, but it felt good in my hands and performed as expected.
The product's only flaw was its size, which was far too large for the task at hand.
Trowel, you've done a fantastic job. Never rusts like the trowels from Home Depot.
Blade is very nice.
Thank you very much!.
