In less than two weeks, the dual welds connecting the metal handle to the spade part came apart. I attempted to re-create the situation. I tried to secure the handle in the spade part, but I couldn't. Nothing has been bent or broken off, but the spade has been rendered useless. In cultivated flower beds, it's used to pry weeds out.
I expected it to be more durable than my previous one based on its appearance. I was mistaken; it was damaged when it arrived. The spade was detached at two weld joints where it joins the handle. br>br>Made in China br>br>Made in China br>br>Made in.
To be honest, I fully anticipated this being a $3 throwaway item. This is a high-quality item. Heavy-duty steel claw with a wooden handle that feels substantial in the hand and easily digs through my Carolina Clay. Simply go ahead and purchase it.

It's light but sturdy, with a comfortable handle and excellent root cutting capabilities. Also, a fantastic price!.
This tool isn't afraid of weeds. I really like how big the handle is.
Clearly, this is not a product of the United States. The wooden handle isn't finished well. I'm not sure if I'd buy this again.
The thinness of the prongs is the most attractive feature. It's simple to get weeds out of cracks. Strong and of good length.
