7 oz - I've never used a better trowel!

Is there any lead in it?

Although there is no evidence that the product is dangerous in any way, the fact that it contains a Prop 65 warning has caused many people to be concerned. This indicates that the item may contain lead and other chemicals.
I am not 100% sure if it contains lead or not it contains lead or not it contains lead or not it contains lead br>In order to be in the market, they must be able to get around government regulations.

How much does it hold in terms of ounces?

More than a pound, to be precise.

I'm curious about the origin of this trowel. What country are you talking about?

I'm not sure where the trowel was made, but it's well-made and of good quality. Fiskars makes good products, and I've had mine for a few years and it's still as good as new with no rust.

The money was well spent
5/5

You can tell it's a Fiskar trowel by the fact that it's small (I say small jokingly; the thing is enormous). It's the same high-quality high-quality high-quality high-quality high-quality high For years, construction sewers have relied on high-quality scissors and other tools. This is ideal for planting bulbs or large, live plants. br>br> With this, you'll be able to move a lot of dirt. It's huge, to be sure. We have clay in our soil where I live, and this thing will easily cut through even the toughest dirt; it's very nice and well worth the money.

It's As If You Were Using A Shovel With A Short Handle! For those of us who regularly break PVC or aluminum trowels, Fiskars has released a "Big Boy Toy
5/5

" It's nice to be able to move twice as much dirt while maintaining complete control over the plants or transplants you're working on. Fiskar products have been hit or miss for me in recent years, but this simple, durable (and inexpensive) trowel is a definite winner. br>br>To keep your hands from slipping and/or becoming sore, the handle is wrapped in a soft gripping material. The razor-sharp blade is made of aluminum and is rust-resistant, which is a must-have feature in Southwest Florida's heat and humidity. The handle of this trowel has been spray painted a fluorescent orange, which is the only improvement/change I've made to it. I spend a lot of time outside working on my landscaping, and I frequently forget where I put it down. It's a lot easier to see the handle against a green background. If Fiskar is listening, please consider adding bright colors to all of your gardening tools so that they are easier to find when dropped (or left somewhere). This trowel's orange tip is useful, but the entire handle should be bright orange - or a vibrant pink, for example.

It saves a lot of time
5/5

This trowel has a large surface area that allows it to move a large amount of soil in half the time of a standard trowel. When a shovel would be difficult to maneuver in a small space, this is a good alternative. It's ideal for quickly putting bedding plants in the ground. The size is substantial, but not overwhelming. This is something I've been doing for a long time. It was noticed by one of my friends. I had to get her one, so this is what I got her.

I wish the leading edge was sharper
3/5

Excellent in every way. It's a general-purpose trowel, but it's not particularly sharp. The leading edge is thick and blunt, in fact. Cutting into hard, dry garden soil is not a good idea. When I'm planting a new plant (1-), I'm digging a hole for it. to 3- I have to use the Fiskars trowel along with a narrower, much-smaller trowel for gallon sizes where I'm not standing up and using a shovel), I have to use the Fiskars trowel and a narrower, much-smaller trowel for gallon sizes where I'm not standing up and using a shove True Temper Hand Transplanter Trowel is a sharper trowel. 1983600, which can be purchased on Amazon as well).

It's about the size of a garden trowel
3/5

After ordering six, I returned these because they looked more like small hand shovels than garden trowels when they arrived. Although some negative reviews claimed that the handles broke off while in use, the product appeared to be quite sturdy. I have no idea because I've never used them. The thickness of the metal on the trowel end, on the other hand, results in a blunt edge - That isn't a good thing. Another reviewer may have mentioned that he had to sharpen the edge in order for it to be useful. Unless you need to use them as a scoop, they're far too large, even with sharp edges.

Much better than I had hoped for! My usually clean rows are smothered in quack Grass and some horrible ground cover because I've had a bad run of Garden care this year (open heart surgery for my husband), so they're smothered in quack Grass and some horrible ground cover
5/5

After years of using a small metal shovel, I decided to try this. I'M SO EXTREMELY THANKFUL THAT I DID! It doesn't appear to be particularly sharp or simple to use. This trowel, on the other hand, is a winner once it's in the soil. This grandma is very happy because it digs up roots, cultivates them, and makes them grow.

I adore Fiskars, but I have my doubts about their quality and application at times
4/5

I like the Fiskars line of products, but you have to be careful about picking the wrong Fiskar tool or not using it correctly, because your image and impression could be tainted if you use it incorrectly. In this case, I'm impressed with the size of the trowel itself, which I use for bird feed but could also be used for yard digging. Returning to my original comments, I've had these Fiskars products before and was surprised at how quickly some of them broke or came apart, so let's see if I revise this review in a few years.

There aren't any exact measurements provided
3/5

I realize this is labeled "Big Grip," but it's my fault for not looking for the trowel's true dimensions, which aren't listed in the description. Because it was too big, it didn't meet my needs. Apart from that, when I received it, it had scratches on it. Simply by observing I'm not sure how well the "material" used to make this trowel would have held up if I had touched it. Over the shovel portion, it felt as if there was a coating of some kind. However, there were a few pluses: it had a good grip. Although it appeared to be sturdy, the disadvantages outweighed the benefits. I gave it back to you.
