Considering I had to cut through a chunk of wood for a gecko tank, the eight dollars I paid for the little saw was no big deal. There was a small obstacle with the wood that prevented me from getting the back of the saw through while cutting, but it was more my mistake than anything to do with the saw. Thank you for looking at the images and review! I hope it was helpful. It is greatly appreciated if you could share.
I have used it on plastic, metal, and wood, and I have been happy with its performance on all surfaces. I went back to the stock blade but it seemed to work fine as well. Hacksaw of high quality.
As soon as my delivery person handed it to me, I started using it. I look forward to using this guy for a long time!.
This saw is one of the reasons I gave it 5 stars. It is what it says it is a hack saw. It is what I had never ordered before. I recently found out, after explaining it to my son, that the blade is actually used to cut Tree branches do not need to be cut for me. I bought it because it was inexpensive and because he said it would be easier to use with my hand problems, so I now have another tool in my collection.
To get through a 1/2 " piece of PVC tubing, I bought this. There were only a few cuts to make. I hadn't a clue what the blade was for the teeth are so fine I was unsure what it would Two cuts were a lot harder than I thought they would be and I gave up afterward. According to this item's description, I expected it to do what it said it would do, but it didn't. In my opinion, you should only buy this product if you plan to waste your money on it.
A small project called for me to cut the frame out. I was making a window screen and by the last cut, the blade was nearly I barely managed to make it to the end. This is a good choice if you need it for a few cuts and you don't expect to replace any annoyed that I had to pay $11 for an item I bought for 16. They later lowered the price an hour after I bought it.
It seems to be working well. PVC, metal, and plastics are no match for the cutter.
