Hammers are one of my favorite things to play with. This one. just ok. I've never used a mason hammer before, so I'm no expert. The balance appears to be off, and the handle grip isn't particularly ergonomic. br>br>The swing has an odd feel to it. When I choke on the handle, on the other hand, I can get a good hit. I'd like the chiseled edge to be a little sharper as well. Last but not least: br>br> I needed to chip off the mortar from about 100 square feet of red brick that I had reclaimed. The head began to wobble on the handle after only ten bricks. I'm going to return it if I still have time. Otherwise, I'll have to shim it with a nail.
But this Marshall Brick Hammer is one of my favorites. This brick hammer was purchased to repair the curb in front of our home and driveway. I bought this Marshall Brick Hammer to remove all of the loose and cracked concrete from the curb in front of our house, which was 110 feet long. The 14 large holes and major cracks necessitated the use of a heavy-duty tool (as well as a full 40-pound bag of concrete). The Marshall Brick Hammer is a popular tool in the construction industry. Tool that was created and designed. In terms of price and quality, this is an excellent choice. It's impossible to beat. I would strongly suggest it. br>br>FYI, the Marshall Brick Hammer still looks brand new after all of the work has been completed.
I would buy this hammer again if I needed to clean some old bricks or remove a wasp's mud nest.
The head has a good weight to it, but not too much.
This was purchased to serve as my third leg in the mines (if you're familiar with the mines, you'll understand). Little hammer with a good deal of weight to it.
It's a masonry hammer, to be precise. It has yet to break. The handle could be 2" longer, in my opinion. The hammer, however, is a block hammer.
Exactly as stated. It gets the job done.
