This handle is longer and the weight is 24 oz. I like it.
I don't like solid or heavy things. My new leather bag is smaller and more manageable The handle of this rock pick from Estwing came loose after 1 day of use. The guy below, who is in the same league as I am, makes me feel like I could take on an army of rock-climbers The train still keeps chugging along while being overrun by zombies. The striking head has a flat surface and the embellishments on the metal components are very good.
Regardless of whether you are an iron worker or not, this hammer is excellent for making holes in bolts and removing debris. It is strong and sturdy for use with bolts, and can peel off coal dust and rust with ease. You can melt the handle with a torch, but not the handle itself. The people keep losing it or stealing it, so I'm on my fifth one.
The rock hammer isn't what I'd expected it to be. The hammer head includes a sticker and an additional tag to let the user know that it should only be used with The seller did not respond via email, so I asked about it, but the sticker is overkill and not necessary. As a result of gross liability overkill, although this looks like a rock hammer, it is clearly marked otherwise. Therefore, despite being a good rock hammer, it doesn't even deserve a star, since it is supposed to be used in another way.
