I approve! My fellow Sheet Metal Worker does, too! I find this hammer to be incredible
5/5

In my second (nearly third) year as an apprentice with the Sheet Metal Workers Union Local 9, I have to say that this is a remarkable As we use the rubber, the vibrations in our hands are reduced greatly. Having purchased the 12 oz hammer, I find it to be quite effective with sheet metal up to 18 gauge. When setting my pittsburgs, however, I have to use a bit more force. The 18-ounce one would be better if you work with a lot of metal rather than the 20-ounce one We recommend 18 gauge or thicker in this case. Using the 12 oz will work for 24 hours at a time The gauge of the metal is 20. In my work as a sheet metal worker, I work with galvanized steel the majority of the time and galvanized iron about 50% of the time. We would appreciate if you would inform your fellow Tin Knockers. After three years, I'm still using my hammer and my elbow isn't on fire, the rubber is still in place, and the hammer works like a charm. The reason I'm going to buy an 18 oz one is because I work on so much 18 gauge metal right now, and I'll definitely find the duct beating less tiresome.

The head is fantastic, but the construction is poor and it is dangerous to use! I was extremely impressed with the condition of the hammer upon its arrival
3/5

I purchased it for the shop and brought it in for work. As soon as the head continued to separate from the shaft after two days of use in a sheet metal shop, the cracks began to appear. Ten to fifteen minutes have passed since the last update During the 15 hours' use, the head can be easily pulled off by hand and is no longer usable. The hammer was still very effective when it was still attached. It was still expensive for half a day of use since there were less than 24 hours of In the end, hammer heads and steel handles were welded to each other after the rest of the shop has had its fill of giggles. I am even more impressed with how well it now functions than before! It won't break any time soon now that it has more weight, which is helpful for thicker gauges of metal! Two stars for the clean separation and the fact that the head is still A sheet metal shop could have turned out quite dangerous since the head was not properly attached to endure the heavy demands of such a I plan to buy it again if I could fit a new handle to it - the stock shaft works, but it's not attached very well to the handle. The use of this tool should be done with extreme caution!.

ARE SOME OF THE BEST TOOLS YOU CAN OWN
5/5

I would love to have this hammer as a gift. The construction of this home is of an extremely high standard. The very thought of having to use it is almost depressing. The envy of your shop will be upon you when you pull it out of your toolbox. A perfect grind is found on the head of this hammer The workmanship and appearance of the product clearly reflect the pride the manufacturer takes in it. An item that truly deserves a 5 STAR rating. (Since 1857). Made in Germany.

Hammer is my new favorite I love it! bought this hammer with the intention of using it for smaller blacksmithing jobs, but it turns out it's just ideal for everything else I do Three-quarters of a pound
5/5

You don't need to dress it like other hammers, just take it out of the package and begin to pound away! It can move some steel for its size! The face is already rounded, so it does not need to be dressed like other hammers. There is hardly any shock at all and the quality is very high. The hammer is great and I highly recommend it! I have updated. It wasn't such a big deal but I did have to round the fave a little bit.

There is a lot to like about this Those who have used a hammer know there isn't much to say
5/5

However, this perfect example of such tool culture may interest you. It has a well-balanced head and long handle, but it is not excessive in There is a great deal of gripping power on the handle and the head appears to be very well attached A rubberized surface that prevents slippage Do you b) covering material placed The weight is more than adequate for tasks where you don't want to, or don't need to, deliver a heavy blow. According to the table, the weight of the head is A person who weighs approximately 10 pounds is 661 pounds. The serving size is 6 ounces. (1 ounce, 300 It does feel that the hammer throws a tad more weight than that, though. I have no idea how long this German is gonna last The pattern tool looks like it will last, since I will not be slamming stuff with it, but it sure does look good. Designed and constructed in a way that's both refined and rugged.

The hammer I ordered was just $8
5/5

I am very satisfied with the purchase. It seems like a good deal and it is recommended to buy it at that price while it is still available. You should pay at least $30 for an equivalent hammer because it's worth much more.

It's a great hammer to start with if you're new to heating and cooling
5/5

Putting it on your list once it goes on sale is the best way to get it. It does not outperform a standard malco tinners hammer due to the shorter back end, but the flat head makes it perfect for ductwork* Edit The rubber has not come off since I taped it up a little in order to prevent it from coming off and to add some grip. She ain't pretty anymore, but I'm hard on tools and this is one that I rely on.

The best hammer for the job
5/5

I have a 30 year old tin knocker, which makes it a nice tool for hvac work. It wasn't too heavy or big, but it was comfortable to hold. glad I have a happy family.
