I can imagine some demigod of engineering walking around and carefully WHACKING machines at exactly the right angle, with just the right amount of force, all while thinking of something which instantly repairs them from the outside in, leaving them in a better condition than they were before. There is nothing like 40 oz. of forged steel that makes you think, "Let's tackle this one like engineers!" The truth is that whenever I work on my car, I use it to indelicately pick things apart. Destroying buildings is also a good use for it.
There was no comparison to the quality of what it offered. accidentally damaged a very expensive piece of equipment at work when I beat it to a pulp. The hammer will surely handle the task, but I'm to blame. In terms of hammers, this one is decent, solid, and well worth the price.
*Warning Do not hit expensive things with it unless you are sure you are doing it right.
I was blown away by the power of this The moment I grabbed it, I fell in love with I purchased the same hammer recently at a Lowes store in my area for about half of the price. With this hammer, I start the metal posts in the ground that stay in place during installation of my electric fence. The trees that fell across my electric fence during hurricane caused the posts to collapse, so I am replacing them with metal ones. It would have been easier to buy the hammer locally, but Amazon had it so much quicker and cheaper.
In my metal fabrication shop, I have used it frequently for the past few months, sometimes five or six days a week. So far, he has not choked!.
If you are doing heavy work, you will need a big hammer. A few slings of an Estwing will do you good. The Estwing is the only device I have for suspension work when I am working with Thor. This hammer will be inherited by my future grandchildren.
