That seems to be solid
4/5

I've read reviews about other cars and these sounded good to me A window punch hammer and a seat punch There are a lot of belt cutters in the world. In some cases, those reviews were skeptical or unfavorable, or they were inconclusive (such as units bought but not tested My final decision was to stick with the blue one (the top photo). After I had it in my hands

1) Although made in China, this hammer is made from a kind of steel made out of iron It seems like the cutter is sturdy enough for its * 2) The position and angle of the cutting crevice in relation to the handle - A good grip is a must. 1) The cutting crevice of this cutter is long and deep. Many cutters have short and shallow cutting facets. As well as an A- There is an inch of exposed blade on this cutter, which isn't the case with many others. The combination of these two features makes it seem like they would allow you to cut through more of the seat belt faster. If speed is of the essence, that would be very useful. 4) The blade is a special size (not an ordinary razor blade), with two holes where it is attached to the handle over two plastic pegs. Because of this, I do not believe it is possible to replace the blade. I think, however, that most people would not really care about replacing a dull blade after any necessary use in a vehicle The only thing they'd be grateful for is that they got out of a serious, perhaps life-threatening situation. It may be possible, however, to sharpen the blade, if desired Located on the back of the unit, which allows easy access to the blade, are five Philips screws holding the two halves together.

However, even if I could, I wouldn't want to drive my screw into the lining of the plastic paneling of my car, and thereby damage it. Although I thought that mounting pieces would come with adhesive backing, this doesn't appear to be the case. As such, I'll just throw away the mounting piece and secure my hammer with sticky tape In the back hoop there is There are velcro fasteners in my car that are both discreet and easily accessible. 7) I ordered two of these hammer-shaped water bottles The cutting tool. The two screws that held one of them on were missing. Since I will not be using the mounting piece, I am not using the mounting piece. But I shouldn't have to replace two tiny items because of a manufacturer's oversight if I didn't want to. seem to get our money, but how many are conscientious enough about inspecting their items for all parts included before shipping out their goods to clients? The units I received were from a vendor called MFASCO. As such, I appreciate their carrying the item and taking steps to promptly ship my order, which came in individual boxes and otherwise intact. ) I will update my review after testing this item on a discarded seat belt (or on a different thick-ish, tough material). Fabric), and a glass window from an auto junkyard, because that's what matters most. The goal is to find out if this gadget will work, and if it will work fast, when or if we In the case of steel hammers, they are the same as those on any other similar product, and are securely mounted in the handle's head. Despite the appearance of the box, I am confident that these hammers will In my opinion, this item will earn five stars if both the cutter and hammer prove to be effective in testing.

That's a total waste of time
3/5

As soon as our Lexus was totaled, I took the girls to the junk yard to dismantle it. When I removed all the items that I put in last Christmas, I found a hammer I put in there. In view of the junk status of the car, I decided to actually work on the tool. There was not a single glass broken by any of the young, healthy teenagers I drove. As they attempted to destroy the side glass with hammers, they all broke it. There were no breaks. As it happens, the hammer did its best to slice through the seatbelt. The blunt end of the hammer mushroomed over and would not shatter The hammer end is made of inferior pot metal that is cheap to manufacture. Using the same one I bought before, I would not purchase another one.

This is a great deal! You can potentially save a life by keeping one in every car you and your family members drive

When an emergency occurs, the seatbelt can cut you off or a safety glass window can be broken open. This would make a great gift!.

5/5

As a gag Christmas gift I gave this to my wife, who has always thought she ought to have one of these since the day she first learned about them. A new one is now in her possession. laughed out loud at it! am not able to comment on how well it works because she has not used it. Hopefully, it will remain that way for a long time!.

I keep it in my car as it is a useful item
5/5

Are you going to need a window broken to get out of your car? It works this way. Are you going to have to cut your seatbelt in order That seems to do the trick. It is comforting to know that it is available in case of emergency, even if I hope never to use it. Whenever you need it, keep it in a place you can reach.

It is adequate

I find this hammer to be within the appropriate weight range for the purpose, though it weighs less than others I have Its capability is something I hope I will never need to test! In comparison with other options, it was the least expensive.

The emergency hammer and cutter is good value for the price
5/5

Hammer and cutter that you can use in an emergency. The only time I have NOT used it is now. The cutter is attached at the handle, but swings away when it is.
