In addition to vintage and antique tool restoration, I also build custom tools. It is one of my pet peeves to handle tiny parts on my bench grinder wire wheel as well as It's almost impossible to display cut or burnt hands so easily on most days of the week as long as I try to handle the parts with my hands
This 2" parallel clamp, for me, solves the problem. I have had great success using it to polish, clean, and sharpen most anything. It is easy to use and provides a reliable hold on most things I am cleaning, polishing, and sharpening. Now that my hands have begun to heal a bit, they feel much better.
The only reason I don't give 5 stars is because of the above noted issue. were in good condition when they showed up earlier than expected. The parallel bars are to be used to hold the barbells. I haven't used the parallel bars yet, but I'm sure they'll be fine.
I like how these clamps look. I was a little disappointed in one of the two I bought, because the threads were a little rough. The price is high, but it is worth it.
I love the way it works.
