Yes, it can be used on bricks, pavers, and concrete blocks and stones.

Is this something that could be used to remove tile from a floor?

Yes, I used this along with an air hammer and a thinset removal bit to remove tiles at my home.

I received one that was chipped

Surprisingly, I received one that had been chipped. The edge was badly chipped, despite the fact that it did not appear to have been used. It's possible that I'll have to return it. It appeared to be sturdy, but given that it had already been chipped, I'm not sure about the tool's and the edge's durability. Because of this, I initially gave it a one-star rating, but I decided to give it another chance before returning. It appears to be cutting stone bricks without difficulty and without causing any additional edge damage. As a result, it has been upgraded to version 3.

It's a good, solid tool that gets the job done

I searched locally for this item but was unable to locate one in this size, so I decided to order it from Amazon. It's as good as you'd expect and performs admirably. I was laying a lot of 9x9 blocks and needed to break up a few of them to fit in specific areas, and this worked perfectly. The lines were scored, and the block was broken. There were no wasted blocks because none of my blocks broke incorrectly. This is a good option if you just need one to get the job done.

For a bad job, this is a fantastic tool. When I lifted the tile off my floor, I discovered more lovely tile beneath it, with a lot of thin set still on top. For weeks on end, I've been scraping.

It Took Some Getting Used To, But It Works Great Now

My husband was breaking bricks for our entryway with this. It took a little getting used to, but he got the hang of it, and the chisel performed admirably. Very durable, and a great deal.
