Questions & Answers

In how many squeezes does one have to squeeze the caulk tube handle to completely empty it?

My knowledge of counting is limited, since I have never done it. I am more concerned about a proper bead and seal than counting

What is the drip-free property of this?

Dripless is probably the best way to describe it. Besides the dripless feature, I would have to say this is the best caulking gun I ever had. This is a sturdy and efficient desk. We do not experience any hand fatigue. There is lots of product coming out of the nozzle with just a little squeeze. This book is highly recommended. I've had mine for almost a year, and I use it every day.

Is the product suitable for urethane glass in automotive applications?

As long as the size of the auto glass urethane tube is the same as a standard 1/10 gallon (10-gallon) bottle, that should work just fine A cold caulking tube (33 oz/ 300 ml) made of silicone or latex.

In the picture there is a puncture needle and the answer to another question says that it doesn't come with one, so why is there a needle in the picture?

As illustrated in the picture, the current version includes a needle for puncturing

There was no way I would have paid so much for a caulk gun
5/5

I was skeptical as to why this one cost so much more than the rest. I have used it a few times now, and it is hands down the best caulk gun I have Despite the low trigger pressure, the trigger operates smoothly. In comparison, the other caulk guns have a ratio more or less 11 In fact, this "Heavy Duty, Revolving Frame Caulking Gun" feels much easier to pull than the gun with a 1 to 1 thrust ratio. A 23 is described in the description My guess is that the contents will discharge more smoothly with the 1 thrust ratio (no pressure is required on the trigger to do it). Another great aspect of this caulk gun that I haven't encountered before is the ability to sell the product on its own. After placing a bead of caulk, in all other previous caulk guns I have used, I had to quickly turn the plunger rod 180 degrees and yank it out to relieve the plunger pressure so extra caulk wouldn't spew out. Notice how silver it is on the new caulk gun On the back of the handle is a steel lever in a color of your choice. By pushing forward the steel lever after you have put a bead of caulk on the inch gap, the rod jumps back a quarter inch, releasing the pressure instantly. Anyhow, I'd say this is the best caulk gun I've Plus, I'll add this It is extremely quiet (there are no loud ratcheting noises).

The advantage of viscous adhesives is their mechanical strength
5/5

The purchase of this item involved a great deal of research. My standard caulking gun was almost impossible to operate when it came to some adhesives that were extremely viscous. It required two hands and a lot of strength to do. As a result, the application was uneven and the hands were sore. Application is simple on this gun due to its mechanical leverage. I really appreciate the.

I'm looking for random things to caulk! What a surprise! The first time using it was like driving a Ferrari or a lawnmower
5/5

I'm not a professional, I just use it around the house, but it was so exciting your head would spin. It is very easy to control thickness of the bead with this bead. As a result of the rotating drum, I could line the edge of the seam up with the bevel. It was the silver thumb lever that made the plunger back off that was the highlight of the whole device. In the past I have left small globs of caulk all over the house, but those days are not anymore. I thought I would have one good caulking gun, but ordering a second one Take one with my clear caulk, and one with my white. You deserve it If the price difference is the only deciding factor, it's no brainer.

A high level of quality
5/5

The sun was out today, so I used the hat a few times. With it, you can produce very controlled lines of caulk for smaller projects. The bulk gun stores sell them for $6. That is far better than those throw-away guns. that this could last a lifetime, with its cast handles and heavy duty construction. The device is easy to use and stops caulk dripping all over the place. I have never used the caulk tubes, so I wouldn't know if it was a con. However, it does not have a tip cutter for the tubes, but I never used them anyway since they rarely worked. You can fold the poke wire out of the way. I think it's a good investment if you plan to use it a lot. Kind of expensive, but I think in the long run it'll be worthwhile. Every time you need a PoS, instead of buying another cheap model, this is a better choice. I received this item very quickly from Amazon, as it was shipped by them.

This is a great It is used for gluing boot hooves to hooves when I glue hoof boots on
5/5

I use a glue that has a 30 to 60 second set time, so it is sometimes difficult to get the glue all the way on the tips before it starts to set. I would like to point out that this caulk gun made all the difference in my ability to glue down the hoof boots, and it's well worth the cost when compared to a conventional gun.

You can caulk more if you squeeze less
5/5

I am in love with this caulk gun. The caulk output ratio between the squeezing and output of the caulking tool is very good. There were times when we all felt like that When you squeeze in the hardest you can, it barely comes This caulk gun fixes that issue, allowing the caulk to flow super smoothly with a minimum of squeezing.

Like butter on a spoon
4/5

It is for one of my daughters who wants to caulk the outside of the house before she paints. It was very difficult for her to get the caulk out of the gun with which she applied it. She wanted this one, so we bought it for her. The text message she sent to me was, " It works as smooth as butter".

A lot of drops were made
3/5

Those of you looking for a caulking gun that will mess up your house should look no further than this model. In the beginning, I want to clarify that I have never caulked before, so I am unable to compare any other gun to this one. As I am painting my house, however, and I had been warned that bad caulking guns are available, I went out of my way to buy a good caulking gun. It is not my fault that the trigger was sore or my hand was Everything was fine there. My biggest problem was that I bought a caulking gun that claimed not to drip, and yet it dripped all the time. Because the caulk kept falling out of the gun and I could not keep up, I was basically finger painting. In addition, I got a lot of caulk on my clothes and on the ground as a result of doing the caulking around my house. The caulk was wasted to the point that I can only guess how much was used. You can imagine trying to control wayward caulk while you're 20 feet in the air, which made the job extra difficult. My recommendation would definitely not be to do it. Make sure the gun you buy is actually not a weapon Drops of water.
