DEWALT 20V MAX Cordless Caulking Gun, 10oz/300ml, Tool Only (DCE560B)

My first attempt at the Dewalt website didn't succeed, but I was directed to the Denver Dewalt service center instead. They can be reached by calling There are 922 According to them, they can only sell parts to convert the caulk gun to shoot Construction is what I do, and raw sausage doesn't belong in my house. The next time I called, I asked if they could sell the parts so I could switch over to the 10 oz tubes for the larger gun. My goal was to shoot sausages, but I was again told I could only participate in parts.

After ordering the gun for 29 oz tubes, I was shocked to find it is exactly the same as the caulk gun except that the plunger and tube holder are different. It is the same for both guns, with a reference to switching to a tube of a different size included in the manual. Would this mean that if a worker drives over the plastic front end of either size gun that it will not be possible to fix it The problem is this hack breaks my heart! I have a lot of Dewalt power tools, but this breaks my heart! The larger adhesive gun cost me about $225 and all I walked away with was a few bucks' worth of spare parts and a run-down of how to use it There are parts available around Dewalt.

If they care, they can tell you where to find them. It won't matter if they don't care about me, I'll be returning to Makita and Bosch.

In my opinion, Dewalt is one of the best tools out there. After being used a little over 16 times, the plastic housing connecting the rotating cylinder to hold the adhesive tubes broke. It takes 16 individual pulls of the trigger to accomplish that. My tool is virtually unusable now, and I'm scared of looking like a fool compared to the guys who bought the Ryobi version of it. While the plastic housing is less durable than the Ryobi alternative, the entire mechanism feels sturdier than the latter. It seems that they chose the wrong type of plastic for the housing of the cylinder, which leads to a flaw in the design. A metal extruded from aluminum would be far superior. Although it would be greatly appreciated if I could give it a higher rating, the amount of time and effort it takes to get it fixed has rendered it almost useless in the meantime. In spite of the inconvenience this faulty product has caused after I have paid for this out of pocket, I do not feel adequately compensated or at all compensated by DEWALT for the inconvenience this faulty product has caused me.

I'm sure it'll get rid of the gunk, though! At least eight of my 20v tools are from Dewalt and I cannot remember the last time I was disappointed. I've never seen a gun caulk like this! It will spit out the goo in a big way. It can blow the gunk hardcore even at the lowest setting, although it will not harm them. My head is spinning trying to figure out why you would want high speed! There is a lot of bang in this gun! need for this thing to be so large. There is a larger impact driver than the 1/2" impact driver I own. A staff member gave me one of their screw guns, and it's It is something I know they are capable of. There is no point in using the caulk poker. When I used it for the first time, it fell off. When I try to re-attach it, it will not stay in place. Gets in the way and flops all over the place.
Have a look at your tube holder before rotating it! Keeping your eyes open will prevent you from unscrewing it and failing to grasp it. It comes with a Roll off the roof and away from the building. Please make sure to poke the top of the tube with all your might. The spray is so powerful that it will pop your tube and muck up your whole system. It is tarred on the roof. My storage of the Dewalt lithium line is pretty extensive, and I'm extremely happy with all of the products (with the exception of the first generation drill). does not differ from what we did before. My hands were drenched in slush after applying heavy caulk on a cold day. Thanks to this I was able to do it quickly. It is important to note that this is a huge object. You will not be able to fit this on your belt like a caulk gun. It is a monster, but incredibly well made and works as advertised. My box did not have a sticker stating that it was made in the U. S. A. There have been tools with the sticker on them that have seemed to have a little bit more quality (some of their new stuff is made here), but I do not know if they build these here or not. It's hard for me to pinpoint exactly what makes them different, however if you put the whole range in front of me, then I'm able to pick out the ones.

However, read the review because it may be the right choice It was easy to remove the rod attached to the tube basket, but it was difficult enough to keep it out of the way during the workday because it was As soon as I opened up the third tube of caulking, the reverse button stopped working, and if you don't make a big enough puncture in the tube, the tube may explode. The caulking in my fourth tube has resulted in me having to go back to using the hand caulking gun since it wasn't keeping things from peeling off. Regardless of where it is used, this tool is ideal for continuous caulking jobs such as panels and places where long beads are used around doors and windows before molding is applied.

You apply your caulk, and when you set the gun down, it leaks onto your tile or floor boards. I had just spent eight hours installing black tile with black grout in extremely hot and humid conditions. There are drippings of white caulk everywhere I put the gun down after I did my caulking, which took me hours of rework. I had a 16ft long shower and it's a 16 ft long shower. As soon as you remove your finger from the trigger, it leaks the entire time. I tried it again outside the shower, but in a box, and it did leak each time you removed your finger.

In addition to the sealant that we had to lay down, we used this product to help with other jobs. beads look very clean when they come out of the gun because the extrusion is so smooth. Considering it's a four-star rating, I would have given it five stars but for the cut tool. Additionally, it is pretty well balanced and a bit heavy with a battery that holds 5 A. A smaller battery could be used, but the battery would need to be changed almost every day. In our tests, we were able to run it on a 5 Ah battery for all 8 hours of the workday. In fact, we loved this tool so much that we have now bought a second one so that multiple people can seal in.
