The fact that I am left-handed poses no problems for me. These two seasons were my first two. It is still possible to cut grass well with them. This is the best grass clipper I've ever owned!
Hello Jane, I also get hand cramps easily, but these clippers are both comfortable to hold and are adjustable for cutting at the right angle. In order to run - Here's the thing It has been about a week since I finished mill trimming, so I have not been cramping. When you use any implement for a long time, even a pen can cause you hand cramps. Maybe clipping in increments would be best. The garden is well maintained, so enjoy it.
Metal is what they are. Steel is used instead of cast iron because they are not cast iron. There is also a description that says they are German and work well.

It doesn't always seem like all the reviews are positive for me. I was disappointed with these clippers, as they are very fragile (very light weight and light gauge steel), they aren't very functional (they jam up easily), and they are way overpriced. I feel not much can be done about price (if they were $16 I wouldn't have a grudge). The clippers I've owned over the years have been much better than those I currently own. The clippers I received were a big disappointment, and I am not quite sure why.
This is the second brand I bought from HD after buying another one. It was a good decision. I got it to work! In general, I don't give out 5 star ratings, but in this case, the combination of price and function justify Cutting with it is easy, does not strain the hands, and is made with high quality blades. It would be the handle which is made of pressed steel and rather light weight if I had to point out one negative. However, it does not affect the use of the tool.
Since I started trimming grass a year or so ago, I have tried three different kinds of grass shears. This is without a doubt my first choice. Because the blades are set to cut at 90o from the direction of the handle action, it is extremely easy to get close and around rock edges, trees, and our vinyl The light is shining from them! Although they might not last long, I'll gladly get another pair every year, if I have to. These are good glasses at this price point, nothing special, but they'll do the job. As I use them every couple of weeks, I will have to wait and see if they last. A pair I have from another company work well, but they are heavier and can be used like scissors, so the angle is harder to manage. In fact, I have a pair of the same company's tools that are something like this design (though heavier) and they worked well at first, but didn't respond to sharpening as they dulled.
I always thought that these grass shears were the best. Easy to use and builds hand muscle. Quiet to use and cuts grass without taking up much space.
There are four stars because the clip that holds the two handles together when not in use is difficult to snap over the second handle, and when it is engaged, it is quite It may not be possible for someone with diminished strength to accomplish At least on the one I purchased, the clip just needs to be a little bigger.
I can honestly say that these hand shears are my favorites. The entire material is metal, making it Now, if only they keep up their sharpness.
A sharpening stone is easy to use and easy to sharpen. It has no plastic components that are easily broken.
A tool that is right for the job. This is a very well made tool and it brings us great pleasure to work with it. My baby will last me the rest of my life if I do what I have to do.
