It seems to be a good product so far. However, for the price I was expecting a little bit more. While I know bonsai tools are expensive, I have been pleased with an inexpensive pair of shears recently, so I was hoping that these would also be a good value. They are very sharp, there is no play in the blade, and they seem to get the job done, but they are not 100% accurate. The blade cover is also very cheap, I thought it was factory plastic wrap and ripped it out immediately when I tried to remove it. It came with a sheath that was at least the appearance of a sheath for my $12 shears. c) to sharpen concave and curved For me, as long as it holds the edge for a reasonable amount of time, I'll be OK.
Exactly what I wanted. I wasn't expecting the gun to be so light, strong, and sharp. The first thing I did was poke my skin with them (like a scalpel) when I took them out of the package. Amazon has let me down for quite a while these days, though I expected the very best of them. With this product, I make gorgeous bonsai cuts and it is one of the best products I've purchased. I have purchased similar tools of this brand elsewhere in the past as well. It's easy to clean and sharpen them (when necessary as they are quite While I am beyond a novice with regards to bonsai care, I am not a professional. I would highly recommend this product.
As I trim horses' hooves, I need to be able to use very small nippers to reach some of the undersides of the hoofs. Being able to use nippers at small sizes was essential to my job. I'm very happy with this.
They will be able to cut just right angles thanks to their strength and sharpness.
The steel feels good in the hand, and the symbols are nicely embedded in it. I will have to use it for a while to get a better feel for the steel's quality, but it seems to be far superior for just about 50 dollars after tax and shipping.
This cutter is of excellent quality for the price. It is rounded on the cutting edge so it can handle both knobs and conventional cutters.
Putting it to the test against a straight edge version bought from Omiyo (to be fair, it is a used one), it won, but it has now become my.
