Silky has always been a high-quality saw that comes at a high price, but I merely wanted to see what the options were for other brands, so I tried a few others. It just feels cheap to use this saw. Our very first attempt to extend the saw caused the locking mechanism to break. In the end, it got stuck halfway into the post to the point where no lock was possible. Now that the lock was not working, the very cheap compression clamps are made out of very thin plastic and cannot prevent the saw from extending. Therefore, the pole saw will extend and contract with every pull when you see a branch. In addition to that, all the extension pieces are held in place by the same locking button. Because of the bending of the pole saw, the aluminum is noticeably thin and bends very easily even when extended, requiring you to exert a lot of effort to cut even the simplest branches. It has a very thin blade as well, but does a good job cutting. We are unable to use the saw because of how difficult it is to handle due to the broken lock, so I can't tell you if the blade lasts long. In terms of residential use, it is barely adequate for residential use, and I would not recommend this saw for commercial use.
In my case, I was able to trim two Pepper trees and one Palm tree without any problems. Quite a good cut can be made with the saw. The end of the day, however, left my shoulders sore. A few of the branches were approximately 4 inches in diameter, and the saw went through them with no problem. This saw is stronger, a little heavier and better looking than my old one, so it should last for a really long time. The price was worth it too!.
This is exactly what was This is a nice, sharp blade. A neighbor's roof branch had reached it, so I used the machine to cut it. I thought you did a good In order to ensure your poles are in the correct order, make sure they are The base wouldn't stay connected when I put the end section with the base. The middle section was added between the first and second sections once I realized what the problem was. I have solved the problem.
Despite its sharpness, the blade can cut through a large branch in a matter of It's nice that the telescopic pole can only lock when each section is fully extended, but this is my only complaint. In these cases, the pole extensions may move back and forth if you are not cutting a branch at the extended length.
The assembly instructions could be better, as the locks are in the way
I pressed the locks up from inside with my finger and then slid the pole into position) Applied more torque to the blade screws. I was extremely satisfied with the packaging. You should be able to use this for years to come.
This was not a well built product. The locking mechanisms were not functioning properly. The extension buttons did not extend all of the way out to secure the extension. Ultimately, I took the pole saw apart and used it section by section, which was a much more satisfying experience. It has an extremely sharp blade and cuts very well. It also has a thin pole that is very lightweight.
To cut branches high up overhead took some practice, but once I got the hang of it, I was able to do it with no problems. The price is reasonable and it has a good value.
There's nothing that can be put together without it failing. I can't even get it to work.
