There is a 5 inch basket in the picture. The diameter is 5" and the height is 6". Multiple pieces of fruit can be held at once in most fruit bowls.
What the product is meant to do, it does. It was a neat find, and I was able to reach my high peaches in my peach tree with it! As the assembly instructions lacked, we had to make a guess as to how it should be put together, and some screws were loose. We used a photo to work out where they went, but we determined that they were too short. This is only a minor inconvenience. Additionally, I bought this for my dad, who is a bit older, so he isn't going up and down ladders, but it did leave me with sore shoulders after prolonged usage. My strength is weak so maybe it does nothing, but I just wanted to point it out just in case anyone else needs to keep in mind. In addition, our tree is located in a difficult spot so that probably didn't help things either. It was difficult to see where I was pulling on this tree since it was more full. As a whole, I really like this product a lot! Pulling the peaches from the high ground with this picker was a lot of fun!.

If they describe a pole as "Height Adjustable," they mean you can unscrew/repair it to get a different pole I assumed it was something easy like those slide-lock pole systems you find. When I saw "Height Adjustable", I assumed it was something like that. In any case, if changing the length of the pole is an important feature to you, you might want to.
It is easy to operate, the height can be adjusted to meet most picking needs, and it has a reach of around 8 feet (at the lowest it can go depending on the number of poles you attach). A butterfly screw is used to tighten the clamps on the pole that hold it in place. Nothing to be done with tools. This is a wonderful Additionally, it comes with a vinyl bag from which you can store your fruit or carry it around. How can you tell I like this?.
