Questions & Answers
No, but it is extremely useful for gathering high-quality fruits.
Maybe. However, I am concerned that the prongs are too hard and sharp, and that the eggs will crack. Perhaps a lacrosse stick with a net would be more appropriate?
I'm not sure if you can get extra parts, but you can buy more than one of this product and combine parts from both to make it longer.

This is the second time I've used it to pick apples from our tree. br>br>The best-of-the-best-of-the-best-of-the-best-of-the When the basket is empty and you're picking things up from higher up, it works fine. It's built to last. The extensions are simple to use. off. It's a breeze. br>br>The negatives br>br> When there are 2/3 apples in it, it doesn't work as well. New apples cannot be picked because of the apples in the basket. When the basket is lower than the handle, it is difficult to use. br>br> Keeping apples in the basket is a challenge. br>br>The foam piece does not always stay in place. This can be fixed, and I'll do so once I figure out where the foam should be placed. It's possible to use it without the foam as well. I'll try a few things out and then update this review. br>br>To summarize, this apple picker does exactly what it says it will. The process of getting started is simple. It is inconvenient to use because of a number of factors. But I honestly can't think of any solutions to those problems right now, and I haven't come across a better one while looking. I'll put it to use once more before updating the review.
This was exactly what I needed. "Fingers" on the basket to pull the fruit from the branch, and a piece of foam in the basket to catch it and keep it from bruising Only if the tips of the fingers were covered with small rubber tips to prevent them from digging into the fruit would it be better. This method, however, is still effective for picking apples, which is what I do with it.
For the price, and for my use on a small lemon tree, this fruit picker is ideal. I like that it disassembles into small pieces that are easier to store, and that I can change the length by removing pieces. My tree isn't tall enough to require the entire length of the rope. It might not be sturdy enough if you plan to pick a lot of fruit from large trees.
The poles were packaged in a small bag that could be hung, which was preferable to having to store a long pole. The basket is strong enough to hold our small apples while we pick them. We haven't tried them with anything bigger yet, but they appear to be capable of handling large apples. This year, instead of using a ladder, we were able to collect our apples.
Apples were picked with the fruit picker in our house. When it came to getting to some of the best apples up above, it made a difference. We were pleasantly surprised by how simple it was to assemble. It's so convenient.
We were going to order one that could be turned to extend when we saw one like that! Not at all what we required!

I wish my apples were as lovely as yours. It kept me away from the rungs of the ladder, which was the goal. I have the 8' product and plan to use it to harvest walnuts and pecans that the squirrels have gotten ahead of me.
I was surprised at how good the quality was. Very well made, affordable, and durable. We'll be able to pick fruits from the top of the mountain for the first time. This is an excellent product.
