Questions & Answers
I actually pick lemons and other citrus fruits with the fruit picker. So, yes, it's suitable for both smaller and larger fruits.
I lived in Mexico for six years and had a large coconut palm in our backyard, so I have some experience with this. I believe it would be difficult to use this for coconuts because they are attached by something much stronger than an orange. The locals removed them with a machete. That appeared to be the most efficient strategy.
It's a very flimsy 1" pipe with plastic couplers that screws together. It was only for the basket that I purchased it. The price is extremely reasonable.
I believe that picking lemon would be a wonderful experience.

It's very easy to use and you can extend it for a longer period of time. In addition, it is extremely durable. Thank you a lot!.
Bought this to pick lemons from our backyard lemon tree. br>Product appears to be of good quality when received, and it even comes with a bag to store it in when not in use. Depending on your needs, you can add or remove the extension sticks that came with the picker to make it longer or shorter. I ended up removing one of my lemon tree's extensions to increase its height. br>br>The installation is pretty self-explanatory and comes with an installation manual; my only complaint is that the instructions on how to assemble the head (the basket part) with the end extension stick are a little confusing. I ended up overtightening it to the point where the inner stick bent. It has no bearing on the appearance or functionality, but it would be nice to have more information so that I don't mess it up. Overall, a solid product!.
The instruction manual is a small 4x6 piece of paper that shows how to insert the basket head into the pole, as does this informative video available online, but it does not show how to assemble the remaining pieces. Although it appears to be simple, I spent an hour fiddling with it and still couldn't figure out which piece goes into which other. Although the product appears to allow you to choose between a shorter and a taller pole, this is not the case. I called the customer service number, and a lady answered, saying she didn't know why they put that number there, and that the product belonged to their friends in another country, but she couldn't help me with my question. Also, as a suggestion, the manufacturer should place some no. stickers on each piece of the pole, indicating which piece should go with which other piece.
So far, I've only used it on our tall orange tree, where the oranges are very large and the picker basket is quite heavy; depending on the size of the oranges, I can get 2- 3 oranges per basket. I was able to fit three in the basket at once and easily reach the top. I made it shorter so that I could get through the branches. I had to be cautious of the thorns, but I managed to get in at the proper angle. It was extremely effective! There will be no more thorns piercing my wretched skin! I'm really looking forward to using it on our incredibly tall fig and avocado trees. This is why the 13' was so important to me. When you factor in my husband's 6' frame for arm length, you should be able to reach previously unattainable heights. Unfortunately, there has been a lot of food waste, especially with the figs. They are either taken by the birds first or they are consumed by them. the fruit ripens and falls to the ground br>The instructions for attaching the basket were not very clear, but my husband was able to figure it out without difficulty. When it comes to the poles, they are very simple to install. Simply turn to tighten by pressing down a little. It's perfect because I can take it apart when I'm finished and store it in the included bag. The basket that came with the first section doesn't fit in there right now, but it's right next to the bag, so it's easy to store. The picker's quality is excellent in my opinion, and I anticipate it lasting a very long time if properly stored. I would recommend this fruit picker 100% to

It performs as expected, is extremely durable, and assisted me in cleaning out my apple trees.
I'm glad I got it because it's quite sturdy. I took a star off because there are no instructions for putting the rest of the pole together, but most people should be able to figure it out. It also comes apart easily for storage in the included bag!.
It's not for cherry picking, but it's a great product. I bought this to pick Rainer cherries, but I had to return it because pulling clusters of cherries down with this tool pulls on the delicate stems and breaks them off the branches. Delicate cherries must be picked by hand after trial and error, but this tool is sturdy and well-made. It also comes with a nylon tote bag to keep your tools in. Also, the assembly instructions are very brief, and they fail to mention that the screw that runs through the pole's center should be left in the pole while attaching the basket to it. The nut of the screw should be able to slide inside the basket wires, while the screw head should slide along the opening where the two basket sides meet. Because I couldn't figure out what to do with that screw, the simple assembly took longer than it should have.
I have a lot of fruit trees and regret not purchasing one of these earlier. It makes it a lot easier to get those apples, pears, pomegranates, and pluots from the tops of the trees. The only thing I'd change is that when you twist the pole to remove the fruit from the stem, it tends to loosen up where it's screwed together. I had to cover it with duct tape.
