Questions & Answers

What is the country of manufacture of the item?

The product is made I am very impressed by the quality of this product, but I am a bit disappointed in the fact that it seems to have been manufactured in a factory where their earlier products were hand made by blacksmiths using old bus springs as material for the construction.

It is what kind of sheath? What type of sheath is this? Shoulder or hip?

It is sheathed at the hip. The belt loop is made of leather and swivels. This is a very good product.

In 14", does this refer to the length of the blade or the total ?

The 14-inch length refers only to the blade and not the overall 14 is the correct number for the blade. The diameter of a quarter is about 25". There are a few inches less than 21 inches in total length.

Can this steel withstand a lot of pressure? What does high quality mean?

It is easy to sharpen the Condor blade and its strength is impressive. A recent task I used it for was cutting some hedges down. The blade did not fail. Hedges like these are not just any type of bush, but hard wooded ones. As soon as my arm stopped working, the Condor went down. A knife like this will not let you down.

I have owned several machetes over the years, but this is my favorite
5/5

The last 25 years of my life have been spent swinging machetes. It has been a while since I used different In some cases, I've given up, as well as in others they just didn't hold up over time. There is no other vehicle I have owned that compares to this one. Machete was brand new and in its retail packaging when it arrived. A very good job was done in packaging and boxing it up. sheath was lacking even a snap on cap if the machete was enclosed in plastic. Unlike the sheath, everything was inside the factory box and was individually wrapped in plastic. Having heard and read so much good about Condor machetes, I have decided to get one. that this Golok would be a good fit due to its size and shape, I realized that it is absolutely true what everyone has been saying. As a result, I won't be needing another machete in this size for a while. If I ever get another machete, it will be another Condor, and only because I might like one of their larger models. There is no need to sharpen the machete after opening The tool is small enough to be thrown in a backpack or used for clearing debris from the These are both scenarios in which I have been utilizing it a lot. Despite being very loosely attached to the blade, the handle is still very firmly attached to it. Machetes with a tight handle are less likely to break compared to those with a loose handle. Strong and thick, it is a blade of steel. When you shake a cheaper machete, you're not going to get that metallic warble sound you get from shaking it. In terms of design, I like how it looks. I am able to grip it tightly with the curved design and the larger and thicker end and it does not slip out of my hand. You can hold and use it throughout the day without feeling tired or uncomfortable. It took me a few hours to tire out my hand after prolonged

I have never seen a leather sheath like this. I'm so impressed with how well it's built. The price of this is well worth it. Usually, you get a nylon sheath along with your machete. I hate it. There is a lot of use for this leather sheath. My sheath is either to protect my blade from cutting things in my backpack or to allow for easier carrying on my side. It does swivel and allow you to sit, but for me it is mainly when I am On one occasion, I left my machete in the floorboard of my car over night and the next morning. During the day, it was very hot, and during the night, it was cold. Throughout the night, the temperature fluctuated causing moisture to accumulate on the metal and retain in the leather. Upon pulling the machete out of the bag, it seemed to have a little bit of rust along the edges All it takes is a little sanding to remove the rust. Because I'm not used to the combination of leather and metal, it was my fault. The temperature will not be fluctuating rapidly in the place where it will be left. There may have been a little moisture around the floorboards in my car While I don't possess a lot of sharpening skills, I can help you out. For me, a nice edge is the one that is easiest to work with. A puck of honing oil I use on my entire yard equipment is stored in my shed. It is easy for me to keep the machete very sharp if I use the puck. As I said, I am not an expert. However, I maintain a good edge over what I see. You can keep reading this article as is if you read it without an edit. The machete is still working fine and everything seems to be holding up. Updates to this review will be made if anything changes. We are here to help you. Feel free to ask me any questions you may have.

The feel is weird, the rotational inertia is high, and the prices are higher
3/5

Is a $65 machete on your mind? * * *Quality A lot of care and effort goes into building the Golok, even down to the quality of the materials and workmanship. The steel blade stock is thin and thick, the distal taper is good, and the sheath fits perfectly. However, as a tool, I found it obtrusive, both for its weight and its awkward ergonomics. The thick tang and chunky wood scales make the handle too heavy and too large to hold, as it is too heavy and too large to hold onto. The overall feeling of using the app was not pleasing to me Generally speaking, a straighter blade has a much smaller rotational inertia because its curve is deeper so it increases rotational inertia. You can find the Condor El Salvador 18" for $58 if you want Condor craft$manship and a beast of a chopper. It is hard to find a good machete that isn't expensive, but if you do you will find this one to be excellent. You can argue that the Golok has a bargain price of $65 if you look at its features. The difference between a 4 and a 5 is With a 14" Golok and something inch Bushlore for $55, the amount of steel, leather, and wood is stunning. A machete of this quality, however, would not be so pricey as the Golok. The marketplace of "machetes" features high-end products It is the norm that is valuable. Alternatively, you could buy a Condor El Salvador with polyprop instead of wood, for $54, or get an Ontario 18 with a "GI" sheath for about $35 or $40 (but you'll need to sharpen it to be usable). When that happens, the allure of wood handles, brass pins, and leather sheaths is gone, but you can chop until your eyes pop. In favor of a machete, I will not say go with an axe, as I am one of those who find it easier to cut targets with one, thus more practical. You can use an axe if you're an axe user. The philosophy of There is no need to chop when you can cut It all comes to an end There are all kinds of machetes Then chop all you need. Probably not as fast as you thought, but how much do you need? If you are considering lighter machetes, I strongly encourage you to consider them. The sounds they make are "Ting, ting, ting! " The machines are more efficient and do other tasks better than heavy pigs but at a lower cost. Using Tram wood handle 12" (and Okapi 16" slim orange polyprop as sheath, making the sheath out of a flexible cutting board), Ontario 12" will make a good set. Buying a Fiskars X7 and a Tabor curved 8" locking saw with the money you will save will allow you to buy a orange "camper knife. " If you don't have the money to buy more, just blow your savings. A wood tram handle 14 or 18, Imacas Pata de Cuche polyprop, and Condor Eco El Salv are both ideal options. Be sure to get out in nature and enjoy yourself!.

It's perfect that you don't want to ruin its beauty by using it
5/5

Then you purchase it for a purpose and realize that you are reluctant to use it. You find a tool every so often that borders on art. You buy it for a purpose but then you hesitate to use it because it is so nice to look at that you do not want to spoil Taking your hand into account, it fits really well. You believe that it may become a collectors item of ever increasing value in the future because it is designed and executed in a way that makes it seem like it might. The item you are viewing is such a thing. This product was very impressive to me when I bought one. Having bought a second, I decided that I would choose the less expensive of the two to actually Compared to each other, it was a difficult task. There was a great deal of consistency in the quality. When you have bought a high end bench plane before, you will understand what this product is about. If you value beauty in function, you ought to purchase this item.

It's getting old swinging that around the media room, and my wife is sick of it
5/5

Her exhaustion in seeing me swivel it around in our media room drives her wild. It feels so good! What a wonderful toy! I have no use for it, but what a great thing to own. It has an excellent hilt that stays in place. On the blade, there is a wide metal. A sharp edge. If you start swinging you will It is the feel of the blade that gives you the desire I thought the price was very good.

The book is a good buy! This machete is definitely a great one
5/5

I am very happy to have purchased such a great machete. My property will see a lot of use of this tool from me in order to control The first Condor Machete I put my hands on was way better than a TOPS Machete that I paid twice as much for, and TOPS knives are my favorite knife brand, so don't think about buying this Condor Machete, just get No one can possibly be disappointed with this book. To aid in my chores, I'm going to buy the Condor axe next. I really like this product.
