I haven't had any problems since using it! As surprising as it was to see it work as well as it did

You will need a lot of energy if you wish to conquer something as thick and high as our fenceline. If the stuff you are trying to remove looks anything like this, I do have a few When cutting weeds, always swing both directions using a weed-cutting technique similar to a golf swing, and cut small widths. Make sure you do not swing in one direction only (by using It would only make it more difficult to cut the tall weeds if the tall weeds were displaced to one side. The weeds are tall, so it takes some time to get used to them. It is a weed cutter that I would recommend to everyone.

This is a handy little tool for jobs around the house
5/5

The delivery was made as promised today. It looks exactly like the The case has a good heft to it, but it does not feel A solid construction job has been done. The blade length is The serrated length is 7 inches, measured from tip to tip. It is 5 inches long. When I drove it to and fro in my side yard, it cut overgrown grass and weeds easily. I used it in the backyard to slice through 4 foot tall bull thistle stems as well as a variety of other hollow stem weeds of various The spray can be applied to blackberry shoots as well as canes up to 12" in length while they are still tender. I don't know how much more there is to it. We do not recommend this tool for trimming woody stems, flower stems, mature blackberries, or thinning small saplings like filbert (hazelnut) or saplings on a lot. No, it isn't a Stihl weed whacker, either, or even a Black & Decker Defend the limits of a Decker string trimmer, it is simply a grass whip that can do a little more if used properly. Despite my 60 years old age and reasonably physical fitness, I have no problem using this tool. I am 5 feet 4 inches tall, of reasonable physical condition. My husband is recovering from his accident and I am attempting to keep weeds and grasses at bay until I can get back to Ma stuff, so I am using a "grass whip. " I've tried many variations over the years, and this is my favorite. We used to get these "grass whips" at the local hardware store, but this little guy is so much better. The performance of this saw is excellent, as long as you don't try to cut down trees with it, I am pleased with mine.

This is a review of the grass whip
3/5

Since I was growing up, my parents had one and it was wonderful. I bought this because we had one growing up. This is not the case here. The product was made in China, I'd guess. However, the shaft of the tool must be tubular rather than solid, which detracts from the pro we see with the blade and handle. As a right-handed person, I noticed the shaft was bending after only a couple of uses. During this process, I was chopping weeds rather than As a result, it was easy to bend it back into shape, which is a bad sign since my arm strength isn't as good as It is not a product I would recommend.

The jungle must be tamed
5/5

The ground is uneven in the lawn of the townhouse I rent. In addition to this, there are roots, rocks, bricks, and a wooded area close by which constantly attempts to take possession of the yard. Neither of us has dared to use a lawn mower, and weed eaters take forever to use. My initial thought was that the old system could still be useful It may be possible to use school methods. While searching for scythes, Billy Bob Thornton echoed in my head the whole time. I found the True Temp Deluxe Weedcutter in this store. After thinking about it for a while, I decided to try it out. Our yard was unkempt and overgrown to the point where it was near jungle proportions. But yesterday, we cleared everything out, and I was thrilled to no end. A single swing did away with whole swaths of trees! I prefer it to the weed eater because it is faster and more efficient. There is only one con, which could also be considered a pro, and that is that you'll be pretty sore afterwards if you're out of shape like I was. In the South in July, you'll feel like Indiana Jones as you use it in the jungle! If you really want to feel like a jungle explorer, try it in the West in July. Afterward, it was a relief to have a shower at my disposal, unlike Indy.

When it comes to Ames products, I always trust them! During my childhood, my father owned a grass whip, which all of us used to whip each other with on the We were told by our father that using this tool will not only help us cut tall grasses and weeds, but will also help our golf swing! While attempting to remove the tall grass and weeds from a hill at a local church, I realized I could use a grass whip to make the task easier, especially since they do not have a string trimmer (that would not work anyway due to the thick brush)! As you look at- I found your product while I was browsing for tools and, having used several types of Ames products for years, a quality and well-built tool drew me to ordering one right away

very happy with this product, and the serrated edges on this tool seem to sharpen themselves during use, which makes it a joy to use. There are simply not enough positive things to say about this product! I keep my golf swing sharp as well! Ames Companies continues to produce quality products that are made in the good old USA and that last and work amazingly well! Thank you! I am sincerely sorry for the delay in responding. Grass trimmer that has been tried and true for years
5/5

Years ago, when I was a young man, I used this to trim weeds on The nostalgia as well as the functionality led me to purchase this. In an attempt to demonstrate this to my kids (16+ years old), I had to demonstrate how to trim the weeds around the property edge even if the battery was dead. You need to put in minimal effort, though. It makes me shudder to think of how many blisters I wore on my hands working on the farm when I didn't know how to use it properly 35+ years ago. You will definitely have to learn how to do it. Wearing gloves while using manual tools is certainly beneficial. I like this one and it works perfectly as I expected. I do not have any questions about it. My family has restored weed-eaters on the farm for many years, and this one I am sure will live a long life, cutting weeds for many years to come. It is certainly one of the things I would buy again if it were to ever be repairable. The benefit of this is, as I mentioned before, the opportunity to teach my kids about life on the farm Amazon was the only place where I could find them since all local brick and mortar stores are out of This is the combination of older tech (this cutter) and newer tech (Amazon), working together to achieve your goals.
