You may skip. In my opinion, this product is completely useless. The wire it came with was bent so badly in use that it wasn't able to be used. I bought it for burying a landscape cable and after about 20 feet of use, it stopped working. The final cost of the order was nearly $80 after shipping. I've never been so disappointed with any purchase in my entire.
It's very easy to take an assumption from a listing even when the description is detailed. Despite the fact that it is 38 inches (or a little longer than 3 feet) long, I assumed it to be a larger object than it actually is since there is no image of the item relative to whatever else is shown. It's a little harder to use because the trenching blade and tool is a little smaller than I like, but it works well and is It is recommended.
It was used as edging for my flower bed by my daughter. As soon as the shovel was used for the first time, the handle bent. It can then be bent back into shape using your hand. A very disappointing experience. That does not seem heavy duty to me. This is not a product I would recommend.
Landscape lighting projects require a lot of wire running. I trenched 200 feet in about two hours with this tool. Time is money, and this tool will not let you down. The price was well worth it.

This tool seems to be well crafted and solidly built. The job was done My entire yard is surrounded by an invisible pet fence (wire). Using this tool, I was able to clear a 60 acre lot in about 4 hours. I was pleased with the shipping time.
