When it comes to electric motors, I've worked on them several times. Contact Black and Decker to obtain brush sets. They can help you if they don't respond or won't. If they don't respond, contact an electric motor shop in your local area. It is an easy fix, but the manufacturers want you to buy new products in order to sell more product. I think you can fix this in 20/30 minutes for 1/4 of the price of a brand new product. Best of luck with the effort!
A electric edger like this one. To use 110 volts in your home, you need 110 volts. Austria has a voltage of 230 volts You will not get an effect and you may even burn yourself.
Yes, of course
There is a blade attached to the LE760FFAM edger. In grass trimmers, line is used.

In regards to this one as well as the last two purchased just prior to it, my technician said it was fine. Each of them appears to be made of grade 2 or 3 plastic, on a scale of 6 on average, they are approximately 4 inches long. All brush holders and bearing supports are based on this design. In normal use, the plastic softens, sags, and, in the case of Nr1, deforms to cause the bearing support to come out of alignment when sufficiently sustained heat is generated. In turn, this causes the brush holder to be loaded on more sides, which leads to more deflection. If either bearing support or brush holder are attempted to be fixed, it will lead to immediate destruction. In number two, the bearing alignment is still not what it ought to be But the amount of sparks from the brushes is pretty amazing until the bearings begin to heat up and impede the speed. There are three more The switch is a newer one- The original one had brushes that were arced over to protect them, but the current one uses a different construction internally (think cheaper). A new switch is installed and it kind of works. However, massive sparks fly all over the brushes until the bearings get hot and once again slow things to a halt (which explains why it only lasted a few hours after installation). There is no cure for their problems except to make the brush assembly and the bearing holder from a really good thermoplastic or a bakelite-like material.
In order to improve our business, we had to replace our B&W I bought the same model again because I liked the D edger so much. I agree with one of the reviewers who said that it just isn't the same! Most of the components have obviously been cut or cheapened. Here are some examples There is a plastic trigger guard and a metal trigger guard Handle assembly is smaller and there are no longer raised lines at either side to act as a grab handle when sweaty hands are involved. To save material, they made the shaft smaller (probably to cut down on both materials & labor costs) The price would be cheaper that way). In the picture, the large black handle has been replaced with a plastic knob that is oblong in shape. On the cutting side, there are no longer any guards to protect the blade. These last two are the most important problems. Using the knob is more difficult. Without the guard plate, it's way more dusty when you edge. Thanks to my husband, who is incredibly handy, the handle from our old edger was able to be installed on the new one through a little engineering genius. Moreover, he kept the blade head from the old one to check if it could be switched with the one that was uncovered. On the whole, the edger still works pretty much the same way, it's just not as convenient or easy.
Both the LE750 and the LE760 ($10 more) work the same, except that the LE760 comes with an extra Moreover, the handle of this model is altered compared to earlier ones of AREA OF CONCERN This is a. You are holding it. Axle height is not adjustable on the current LE750 it is not a two-position system. Apparently, D removed it in favor of a knob for the forward hand that is part of the handle assembly, and which cannot be adjusted. The model sold on Amazon and at Lowe's and Home Depot is among the models that are available. Although they appear to have removed the black aux handle, they still use it on their own website. Would you mind telling me if that's a lost opportunity? My knowledge of whether this is a good switch or if it's just a cheaper option is limited. I wish I had a simplified instruction manual, but my current one is confusing- An auxiliary handle for use in Position 4 is described in the Section describing Auxiliary Handles. It does exist, but it does not have a As a consequence, Figure 4 has simply been removed! At this point, the space is just blank with Figs 1 through 3 Fig. 3 and 4 followed by Figs. 5 and 6 In the next panel, there is a picture of 12. ** 1. You need amperage. Which number is it? Eleven or twelve? It is stated that LE750 is 11 amps in the Amazon description. According to a bulleted list on the B&H website, the LE760 "kit" is 12 amps, then 11 amps! So the power is 12 amps in the first bullet and 11 amps in the second! For the LE750, I see on D's website that it's 11 amps. Yet the panel between the rear wheels of the edger says 12A. Neither specifications nor a price list appear on the instruction sheet. What a relief! Then does it matter what you do? 3. )) Click here. Instruction sheet does not make it easy to read the chart on the extension cord. A 100-sheet binder is something that most people will want to use It's difficult to choose a cord length, but the possibilities are ten amps, 20 amps, and 100 amps In the US, 12 amps requires 15-gauge cord for 100 feet. But neither Lowe's nor Home Depot carry 15-gauge cords out there The 50-foot cord of an amp at Home Depot is only rated for 100 feet I did not see any at Lowe's). In the instructions, the warning is that it is crucial to use a lower-priced In addition to shortening the life of the motor, an ampacity cord can cause overheating. Okay, so the instructions say that if in doubt, use the heaviest gauge available. With a heavier gauge, the number of gauges is smaller. This is what I learned elsewhere (I learned it from another source). I would have been OK with my 100-point total if I had done the math A 13 amp "medium duty" cord is there, but they should have provided examples of the right cord to use with THIS APPLIANCE, based on the available standard cords, rather than give ranges that don't exist or are irrelevant to the edging machine at hand.
This new one edges in great shape. I have had my old Black + Decker EdgeHog for many years, and only needed to replace the blade every few years to keep things edged nicely. This new one edges great, but throws dirt all over the place! With the improved edge cut, B+D has eliminated the inner ring dirt shield, which prevented dirt from flying out into the cutting zone. It's safe to assume B+D management will refer to the new design as an "improvement". My opinion is that it is a Profit Improvement! My black plastic blade shield part from the old one was swapped out for the new one, and it now works just like the old one. Thanks to you I am able to continue using my old blade shield! It is a shame that B+D management has done this!.
This edger / trimmer worked fine for four times before it stopped working on the fifth time. A good trench had just been dug when the motor A message was sent to the seller, Black & Decker There has been no response from Decker It seems they don't stand by their products and would suggest you look elsewhere. I had a similar Black & White experience, which I think I found to be a lot better. My trencher is a Decker trencher, and it has lasted me the one I used before it died was barely over six months old and was only used a couple times.
