br>br>I also noticed that after using them for a long time, my hands became fatigued. The little razor snippers turned out to be a really cool addition to the set, and I've been using them a lot more than I expected. I think it's nicely packaged and would be ideal for someone who will only use the products occasionally. br>br>In my case, where I use clippers for several hours per day on our farm, these are simply not going to work for me in the long run. Overall, they appear to be a high-quality product, and I would have given them a perfect rating if it weren't for the comfort issue.
I quickly realized that I'd need to purchase a number of additional items to complete the set! br>br>Most importantly, I'd require some bonsai scissors for pruning and shaping the tree! br>br>After some searching, I found this set to be exactly what I was looking for: ergonomic and sharp! This, along with the included mini scissors, are exactly what I was hoping for! I'm sure I'll be using them for a long time!.
It appears to be made by hand. It's essentially hand pruners that you're buying. In my opinion, the small finger snippers are a nice extra to sweeten the deal. Those aren't particularly comfortable for me, but that could be due to my arthritis. The hand pruners, on the other hand, are well-made and reasonably priced. Of course, anything made of steel must be handled with caution. To keep these from rusting, I'll clean, oil, and store them in the house.
The scissors are a little smaller than I prefer, but they work well, and larger pruners may actually be a hindrance getting into small spaces between flowers. br>I haven't used the big pruners yet because I haven't needed anything that aggressive. br>Even if they were single-use, the price is too good to pass up.
With these, I snipped some tomato branches, and the next day they were covered in DEEP rust - GRINDING was used to get rid of it. br>br>Amazing deal, but at a high price.
I went to Home Depot and bought a $9 Japanese Juniper Mound, received this tool set in less than 24 hours after ordering it, and went to town. They were simple to use and had enough sharpness for the task at hand.
The clippers are sturdy and long-lasting, and the small shears are a nice bonus.
Excellent equipment at a reasonable price.
