The springs on these pruners are broken? That's not possible, I don't think. There must be something "hydraulic" going on here. It has been countless hours since I used it without a hitch. I'm sorry Jack, something went wrong over the last 10 hours. I am not sure what type of pruning you are doing, but that simply is not possible in regular terms.
The stainless steel spring for the Platinum Series is a replacement for the Shear Perfection®. The following parts are compatible with this part number
I've used them for bud and they're fine, but the blades are slightly thicker than Fiskars knives. Although the curve is nice, it isn't smooth. In my opinion, there is a better option, but that's kind of a personal taste. Cleaning this scissors is as simple as cleaning any scissors of similar design. Metal shavings have never been an issue

It's a joke that spring comes around. Trimming is something I do at work every day. Each day, you spend eight hours on the job. They sent a replacement spring and it broke within a couple of months, so good luck finding a new one. They also gunk up so fast when using marijuana. While I liked the scissors while I was using them, I don't think they are worth the price after.
I bought it on sale for very little. The ones on Amazon are much nicer than the one I ordered. Despite its curved blade, this was one of the cheapest models I could find at the time. Once you begin to build up a small amount of plant matter, the springs are not strong enough to separate the blades when trimming. You can't keep the clip that holds the handle together closed unless you want it to. After breaking off the clip because it was driving me mad, I had to stop.
Having worked for several years in the recreational marijuana industry as a grower and trimmer, I was looking for a decent pair of curved blade grooming sheers. You have It is 100% reliable and best to invest in a pair of these sheers if you are looking for a pair that is durable and sharp.
This is the first time using this type of shears and wanted something that was more precise for the details. The price was too good to pass up, and it turned out to be true. It is hard to describe these snips as the highest quality - Almost all of the screws holding the blades to the plastic body of the box were stripped out. I'm not really concerned about the fact that they won't work because they aren't really serviceable, plus they cost just over six dollars, so in the end I think they are remarkably good.
Sharp blades hold up well and are very durable. Shears with a more comfortable handle offer greater comfort than those with a cheaper handle. Two weeks after they were installed, the clip that held them shut broke off. The springs broke within two months of each other as well. Old shears fit me fine, but I have not been happy with the fit of the new ones. Keeping this in mind when buying is a smart move.
in these shears is only made to last for a few months, so they come with a replacement spring that lasts a few months as well. As soon as these break, you are left with a perfectly good pair of shears that will no longer function requiring you to replace them with another pair. As a regular purchaser of these items, this is my fourth order.
The clip is catching and pinching all the time. I removed it in the hopes it would fix the problem but learned that the plastic housing at the (top where the blades meet) is also shaped incorrectly and it also catches. It is not a recommendation.
It is these scissors that I use This will take at least three of these, along with some alcohol, to regularly switch out the scissors if you would like to use them on buds. If I graded these products on bud trimming, I would give them a grade of 1 star. It becomes difficult for leaves to cut once they start sticking to the blade. As a result, they earn 4 out of 5 stars from me. Because the plastic lock can sometimes get in the way or mess up and stop locking, it is not 5. If you are only going to use these on stems, you are not going to use them for long periods of time, so the lock is a great alternative. As well as lasting forever, they are also durable. For a few years, I used mine almost every day.
