The scissors arrived in good condition, brand new, and appear to be genuine. Given its disproportionately large size and weight, it appears to be well-made, sturdy, and comfortable to hold. Unfortunately, it became dull after only a few minutes of use on some small twigs. When I tried snipping some leaves, it started tearing them apart. Upon closer inspection, I discovered that only the front 5mm of the upper blade edge had begun to chip. The opposing blade, on the other hand, appeared to be in good working order, leading me to believe that one of the blades was defective. It would have easily received a five-star rating if it had remained sharp.
I've tried a lot of bonsai tools, and these are by far my favorite for the money; at first glance, they appear to be just like any other bonsai scissors, but closer inspection reveals small details such as the flawless sculpting of the steel. If you're looking for serious bonsai scissors, I always start with these. Advantages: br>br>

These are very well made, and I've been doing bonsai for 16 years. I'll get them again if I need to replace them. I wish I had spent a little more money on higher-quality equipment.
This scissors gives me excellent cuts, especially when it comes to cutting small stems. The workmanship is excellent.
