By turning the knob at the end of the wand, you can switch the spray pattern from a stream to a mist, and that will modify the amount of product coming out of the unit. You can also adjust the pressure on your unit to control the force that comes out of it.

This is amazing! If I had lost it years ago, I would have had a great deal of peace of mind. Spray guns like this one are far superior to the originals. With the brass tip, you are able to adjust the spray width and distance very precisely. The spray is also much farther, so I can use it to spray my fruit trees right up to the top with insecticide. Like I said, I wish I hadn't lost the original!.
I received the box in the mail, not even taped up. However, it was in good shape. This product features a brass nozzle and fitting at the end of the hose that are of excellent quality. This sprayer is mounted to my tractor's back end. I use it to spray spots. Spraying for extended periods of time is simple and easy with the spray gun's balance. It is easy to adjust the nozzle to achieve desired spray patterns. It is a great product, I highly recommend it.

This is the original spray wand I had on my 25-year-old Sprayer that sprays from a Fimco tank that holds 2 gallons. There was a leak in the 1 GPM pump, and even when it was functioning correctly, it was inadequate for spraying fungus on some 25-100 The foot tree I bought is the one I bought. Spraying distance is longer with this wand, and it appears to be well-made. This gun was the best I could find for general purpose spot spraying and for spraying the trees, too - Valley Industries sells other spray guns that are designed to spray tall trees, but I would need a more powerful sprayer to use those guns. The price was right as well.
It is a quality, durable wand. I have to say that these items appear to be well constructed and of good quality. They are used both to treat cattle for flies in the field as well as for spot-treating There are adjustable tips on this wand and it sprays from a stream to a mist. This last wand we bought already had the fitting on it so we could hook up the hose, which was not the case with the previous one.
When the hose came in the mail, the barb for the hose had been permanently installed As shown in the picture, the hose hook up location could be changed.
