I’m’99 sure you can use Quality RV antifreeze in place of this stuff in place of this stuff in place of this stuff in place of this stuff in place It just has to be the good stuff, and it has to be $3 or less. A gallon of this costs $6. Not the super-cheap alcoholic beverages. And that's all there is to it! All of the pumps in an RV use this, and these sprayers are very similar in many ways.
"Storage and Freeze Protection for Airless Pumps," according to the container, I'm not sure.
When I don't plan to use the sprayer for a week, I use the pump treatment. When I'm done painting, I always use it. It has been in my possession for more than three months as a storage container. My sprayer is now eight years old and has never let me down.
I'm not sure if it'll expire, but I've used up my old one, which was 6 years old, and my sprayer has been performing admirably even after it's been serviced.

According to the instructions on my sprayer, I should use three times the amount of water. Fill the sprayer with 4 oz of this to protect the internals while it sits after use. I needed some extra doors for a few I needed to paint, so I went out and bought some. Well, it turns out that my sprayer only needs about 1 oz to fill up, and it's already full - So I'll be able to use this bottle for about 32 times. It should last a long time, and so far it has kept my sprayer running smoothly even when it has been sitting for three days. The interval between uses is four months. Because I am a homeowner rather than a professional, I take extra precautions to protect my belongings while they are stored. This is what works.
There isn't much to say in this section. The product does exactly what it claims to do: it helps you save money on your pump. Here's what I'll say: if you're thinking about not using this product as directed by the manufacturer through your sprayer, you deserve to lose your several hundred dollar sprayer to carelessness; this stuff is like car oil. It's required; otherwise, the engine will stall. To protect their investment, all professional painters use this or a similar product, and you should as well. It is effective for me.
I've been using this as a professional painter for many years there are other brands but they're all around the same price it's basically antifreeze / coolant for your car but it has a few other user friendly perks added to it and it doesn't have that nasty automotive coolant smell it's expensive but consider replacing a $5000 or even a $200 dollar pump because you didn't lubricate it after each use you'll get two cleanups out of a quart.
If you own a Graco airless sprayer, this is a must-have accessory. After a 7-year hiatus, I finally got my sprayer out. It's been 8 years and it's still going strong; admittedly, it's pricey, but it's still less expensive than replacing the pump.
An adapter and nozzle were included in the package. The issue I had was that the adapter did not fit on the bottle as instructed, and the nozzle was ineffective. It appears that this product has been re-released. The bottles aren't the ones Graco intended and aren't packaged in the way they should be. This is something I will never buy again.
If you don't like the fact that this product is required, an air sprayer (rather than an airless/pump sprayer) might be a better option. Personally, I prefer airless sprayers, so I believe this product is well worth the money.
This is what we're counting on to keep our sprayer in good working order. I used the sprayer once and followed the cleaning and preservation instructions that came with it as well. We'll report back on the sprayer's effectiveness once we've had a chance to use it, but based on what we've read and heard from other sprayer owners, the TrueCoat paint sprayer is a must-have and wise investment.
This is some of the best material I've ever seen. If you leave it in your airless, it will start up again after three years.
