Questions & Answers

Can you explain why this tip would be useful? As we know, for conventional latex paint, the orifice size of the tip The manufacturer of the paint has specified that 10) does not conform. ?

Office sizes depend on the paint type that you are using, as well as the finish you want for the surfaces you are painting. FFLP tips are designed for fine finishes with incredibly little overspray on doors, trim, cabinets, etc. I'm not sure what you mean by When it comes to home center paints, Lowe's, Hope Depot, etc., there are very few similarities to Sherwin-Williams paints - don't just assume they're all the same! There are a lot of different FFLP tips available from companies like Williams, PPG, etc. I spray with both a Graco handheld sprayer and a Graco pump unit and never have to thin them out.

Does this tip work with the graco sg3 ?

Almost any gun will fit, so long as it is protected with a RAC X guard. There is no way to fix a RAC IV or RAC III guard with this.

Do you have a picture to prove that this tip is compatible with tc pro guard? Or ?

As far as I understand, there will be no conflict between racx and tc pro with the fflp. Tips from fflp are the only ones that work with the tc

What is the compatibility of this spray gun with all graco spray guns?

In order to achieve this, not the sprayer, but the base of the tip guard has to be considered. A rac-like base has to be used for the tip guard In this case, the rac- not x If you are.4 or if you are. Think of, for instance, the following. The sprayer I have is a cheap Harbor Freight one, but I purchased a RAC- You can use this tip and x guard. I really like how it works.

I am really impressed with this In a nutshell, Spray patterns create a fine mist over a 6 inch diameter pattern with 310 tip
5/5

In my example, I used a Graco Project Painter Plus, including the blue RAC X guard (which you need The paint I used was Benjamin Moore Advanced semigloss paint, unthinned. A smooth finish is easy to achieve with this type of application for cabinet doors. It was possible to find orange peel on 3 out of 21 doors, but you really have to be The full gallery of images and videos can be found here. In case the tip gets clogged, the reversible tip comes in extremely handy. It is helpful to filter paint before using it in order to prevent As well as being easy to clean, it is inexpensive. Here's a tip that will leave you with a fine finish! My goal is to obtain quality finishes (or at least as close to it as possible) and I am not a professional by any means. I sprayed 2 coats of BM Advanced paint at 84 degrees with 23-degree spray guns Currently, moisture levels are 33%. Once the first coat was sprayed, the 24 hours elapsed before spraying a second coat (without sanding between coats). The attached images may be of interest. I was super pleased with how the finish turned out! I wanted to get there with this 310 tip and that is what it helped me achieve.

The tip is of high quality, has low overspray, and can be controlled easily
5/5

If the job requires a fine and smooth finish, this spray tip is an excellent choice. In addition to spraying trim and cabinet doors, I sometimes use it in other situations. I used this spray to spray a bedroom wainscoting of a moderate size most recently. It is easy to control and does not have excessive overspray. It also uses a low pressure (about 1,000 PSI) so it sucks up paint quite In my experience, I recommend starting at very low pressure and increasing it until I no longer see fingering on the spray. A filter IS a MUST when it comes to My first attempt at spraying latex led to it getting clogged every five Compared to my 515, I'm not used to this as it sprays both water and any liquid To fix this, I found the best solution was to place a screen over a 5 gallon bucket and pour all your paint into it. This will filter and box it at the same time. Then you can pour it back into your gallon containers and spray it. A quick clean up is also possible. Launder away the paint visible on the exterior, fire some clean water through, and you're good to go. RAC X blue guards are the only ones that work with this.

It is an essential component for cabinets
5/5

With this tip, I laid some Milesi HKR 113 Poly on top of the layer. The door of the Maple Cabinet is finished in this way to provide a factory finish. Despite the fact that I am not a professional painter, this tip and the Milesi provided me with a very high quality finish. Only a very small amount of overspray was present at the tip. Graco's X5 was the camera I used. I'm not sure what the problem was, but there was no orange peel. I am sure you have done a significant amount of research to ensure you achieve the best results. It was also stated in other sites and forums that the DIY Sprayer like the Graco X5 could not be used on such a large scale. There's a lot of rubbish in this. Use the Airless sprayer at a low pressure, check the spray pattern, then increase pressure until no tails are visible. Another thing you learn is that a HVLP is a must. This is incorrect! You can provide an ideal factory finish with the Graco X5 and 310 FFLP Tip, as well as the Milesi HKR113. The Milesi 5KG Can lay down like glass after being thinned with 6 oz of water.

Although not as good as HVLP, it is much easier to use
3/5

The well-being program that I had previously used was HVLP guns of purple color from Harbor Freight are known for working on cabinets. I was really happy with the result, but it took a lot of time to set the spray gun up and fill the compressor, mix the paint In the 30s Even if you're not ready to paint for 45 minutes, you must clean your workspace for a long time Continue until all the coats are covered. My interest was further enhanced when I learned about these new FFLP tips from Graco. Having worked with an airless sprayer in the past, I was delighted with their The tip does a decent job of putting together a book. A much better tip than a regular tip, but still has a lot of overspray when Yet I did not have to thin the paint (I usually add a little Floetrol to thin it a small bit), and I can be up & painting within ten minutes. There is also a lot more paint applied than with HVLP, and you have to overlap the paint by 50%. You should be able to do it without multiple coats and sanding between layers if you do it correctly. When I painted the third time, it was a very humid day and I had major blocking problems due to the thickness of the paint, but I have never encountered I am still going to use this method. Even though the results aren't as good as HVLP, the whole experience from setup to cleanup is still much better than HVLP and I will continue using these tips.

I really like this tip - thank you so much! The TC Pro firmware is compatible with this product
5/5

Graco TC Pro, so I bought this to use with it. This tip is guaranteed to fit perfectly (all the FFLP tips are). For covering some beams I was building for the ceiling, I used it in conjunction with Ben Moore Advance paint. A perfect finish was achieved and I am amazed at how well it came out. This is such a stark contrast to It came with a total of 015 tips. No paint was strained or thinned before being sprayed on the gun at level 4. It was an excellent result. Do a good job priming and sanding the surface, as imperfections will show through.

This is why they wanted a nice finish (like a cabinet)
5/5

As an initial purchase, I also bought this tip to spray baseboards and doors, and wanted a nice finish (like cabinets). Spray), but the coats look great and I was able to get them sprayed I will definitely use this tip for any job requiring a fine finish.

You can use this tip to get a smooth, I used it to paint kitchen cabinets and it worked great
5/5

This is clearly a professionally done job. Before switching to this tip, we tried some of the blue tips, but they didn't give us the smooth flat finish we desired.

You have a great tip here
5/5

I think this tip did a good It gave a great finish to an armoire that we painted with SW urethane. The motor stopped up a few times, but reversing it and cleaning it out only took a few seconds. The next step will be to seal a mahogany dining table with lacquer. For RAC X tips, don't forget to get a blue guard. The orange guard will not fit.
