The pole has a long life expectancy. The length-adjustment clamps are secure, and the yellow grip is extremely comfortable. I'm very happy with my purchase and plan to use it for a long time.
I'm not sure what you're looking for, Jim. The bottom tube (which is adjustable and slides in and out before locking) has a diameter of. 96 inches in length. The screw threads are contained in a single metal piece at the end. 04 inches in length

If you had gotten a small roller with threads on the end of the handle (which I did not), I'm sure you could.

Climbing over seats and reaching around the steering wheel was a chore I despised and struggled to complete! I became disabled and old as a result of this! I couldn't do it any longer. As a result, I decided to use a squeegee on the INSIDE. I was able to reach around the steering wheel, but not around the wheel itself. Something with a longer duration was required. This telescoping pole is EXACTLY what I was looking for! My squeegee fits perfectly, and I can reach every corner of the wind shield with ease! After YEARS of searching, the problem was finally solved!.
I paint a lot and have a shoulder injury from a previous job. When painting ceilings and higher-up walls, I need the roller extension wand to be as light as possible so that I can paint for longer periods of time. First and foremost, he's adorable, but he's also the lightest item I've ever handled. It reaches about 3 feet, which is just long enough for me to reach a standard ceiling at my 5 foot height. It's small and portable, and it's simple to extend with a few switches flipped. You can't beat the price, so I'm going to get another one so my husband won't be able to avoid helping me paint. br>br>It did make an ominous creaking noise when I applied a lot of pressure to the joint when testing it out, so it gets one star off for sturdiness, but I used it to paint our entire bathroom last night and I'm in love.
It was just the right length - The ceiling was 8' 3" and I was 5' 7". The telescoping parts were not floppy at all; everything was nice and tight, and the paint roller only needed to be tightened once on the pole for the entire project.
I was overjoyed when I first received it. This appears to be an excellent addition to my home improvement supplies. However, there is a downside. I go get my paint roller and wiggle it around, but it won't fit. This irritated me to no end. I go to Home Depot to get a more expensive roller, and guess what happens? When I get home, I discover that it does not fit! br>br>What I'll say is that it appears to be fine, but if someone has to procure the exact roller for it, it appears to be problematic. It's a matter of practicality. I kind of wish I'd just bought a good ol' dependable wooden paint stick instead.
What you get for the price it's being sold for pleasantly surprised me. br>br>To keep things simple, this is a three-part telescoping telescoping telescoping telescoping telescoping telescoping telescoping telescoping tele Paint roller handler with a foot. (Can be adjusted from 15" to 33") The material is aluminum, but you'll notice that it's very solid, feels good in the hand, and isn't heavy or flimsy when you feel and handle it. br>br>The thread is standard, which is great because it fits my smaller rollers and is similar to push broom threads. Almost any roller with threads built into the handle should work fine. br>br>The foam handle cover is comfortable to hold and provides a good grip. I'm just hoping I don't get too carried away with the paint. br>br>In terms of movement, the two sections glide smoothly, and the locks are simple to operate and keep the sections firmly in place so you don't have to worry about them coming loose while painting. br>br>As with all of my reviews, if there are any issues with continued use, I will update this one as well.
I used this in conjunction with a 'Carlisle 3685314' broom head to create my own retractable broom that fits under the sink. This extension pole is shown next to a Dupol roller frame, indicating that it will work with the frame. This is not the case. It's just a tad too loose to use as shown in the photo. I purchased the Dupol frame because I require the design's strength as well as the 9"-wide width. Because I'm in the middle of painting a stuccoed block wall, I need the frame's 12" capability. br>In order to make it work, I'll have to wrap tape around the threaded end of the pole to make it larger. br>Amazon should not display that photo of the two of them together because it is extremely misleading.
I use this extension pole to paint and clean the windows on the ground level. I've even used it to dust the black baseboard trim in my house with screw-on dusting heads. br>br>It's incredibly light, the locks are reliable, it has a good grip, and it's simple to operate. I wish this pole came in more lengths, but based on a few Google searches, it appears that Bates only makes this length extension pole. If that's incorrect, please let me know. br>br>The price is also very good, and as a long-time DIYer, this is my favorite "go-to" short, adjustable extension pole. I hope this information is useful.
