Gorilla 8060810 White Tube Silicone Sealant, 1-Pack

I smell a very bad smell (as if vinegar were present). I enjoy its simplicity and ease of use, but the product is so sticky that it does a terrible job of coming out of the applicator tip. The first tube I bought broke the crimped bottom while I was trying to get the fluid to come out of the tip of the applicator. As a result I had product all over the tub itself because the seam of the tube burst. As I was trying to clean it up, I realized that water is not soluble in it. I hate it! The clean up takes place after the stain is smeared on the tub and the floor There are marks on my hands all over. The mess is really messy so I was trying to wipe it up with a hand towel. The grease dissolving dish soap and scrubber sponge I used to clean my hands were not sufficient for the job. It looks like I have a serious mess in my tub right This impossible product leaves a mess all over the floor, so I'll try using a razor blade scrapper to clean it up. Not satisfied at all. If I had used the same sealant as I did over 10 years ago, I would have saved myself money. It wasn't as hassle as this stuff when I was a kid.

As several others have said, I also had a bad experience. Having used it just a couple of days after I bought it, I recommend it highly. In spite of cutting a large enough opening for the silicone to easily pour out of the tip, the back end of the tube burst open after a few seconds, and most of the silicone shot out of it and all over my hand. I am still trying to clean it With this tube, I was hardly able to complete one small task. Because the tip of the tube was rolled into a ball and the end had been wrapped in paper towels, more would come out of the back than This stuff comes in tubes that Gorilla definitely has a serious manufacturing defect with. It has been a very disappointing experience from a brand that has usually served me As a result of this experience, I will be less likely to put my trust in the brand in the future.

Let me begin by talking about what is I expected that the silicone would work as Smooth and easy to apply, it resulted in a smooth surface. The thing is, however. There were two separate layers of cardboard backing and plastic shield when it arrived through the mail. It was as if the glue that held them together had failed. No damage was done to the cardboard backing, neither to the cover nor to the flaps. Let's get to the bad stuff. It is not well made and the end that was crimp heat sealed burst open in my hand once I squeezed it twice. I had to duct tape it shut until it dried. Not sure if mine was defective, but it does not hold its shape. The silicone is great, but if I had to choose another brand based on how horrible it was to use, I would say choose another brand.

In general, I like Gorilla glue products, but the tube's quality control was unsatisfactory for me. While working with this product, the bottom seal started to come open and silicone began to leak out the sides. There was no doubt that it was a messy situation. It was a good thing I had alcohol and rags on hand. The finished product turned out just fine. It would have been better if the tube hadn't broken!.

A bathtub is where I intend to put this. The caulk came out the wrong end of the tube when I squeezed it, so it was However, I ended up buying another one, and it was difficult to get it on cleanly, but it really is a good quality. I gave this product 4 stars because I like the quality more than my last one. There was a haze on the photo that I wish had been cleaned up. It wasn't difficult for me to cut the cuttable tip and to be fair, I am a complete novice at this, but I felt like I needed an extra tool to get it in neatly. By the way, the smell is strong, and you will need to open the windows.

There is a 200 gallon water tank in the back of an old Ranger that I use to haul water for my off-roading I needed to seal a leak in the custom fitting at the base of the tank as I was grid mom. In spite of other reviews saying that this product would be great for that, this did not hold at all. The epoxy comes in a stick form, so I tried it with JB Weld Water. In order to make a chemical bond that had the desired effect, both the core and outside product had to be kneaded together.

As a white sealant lover, it was such a treat to finally find a squeeze tube version in my local high-tech shop. My sealant has a nice quality to it it's thick and sticky, which is what I need. However, the application design really disappoints and wasn't able to work. Because the nozzle is made of hard plastic, it is difficult to squeeze the sealant into it. It ended up breaking from the end of the tube while only half of the sealant had been injected. The fact that such an excellent product is ruined by its bad design is really disappointing.

In only a few seconds, a large quantity of silicone began bursting out of Caulk on its own didn't feel and smell like silicone caulk I've seen or used before.
