It applies to both. Not only is this caulk strip waterproof, but it is oil-resistant as well In addition to being durable and strong, it also has a
As far as my toilet is concerned, I put this around it. I had to put a minor amount of effort into going around the curve of the toilet, but the adhesion was strong enough to hold if you need to cut a little opening in order for the caulk tape to adhere completely, do so when you meet the curve of the toilet.
Is it as pictured? Yes, it is. Aside from clear caulk strip tape which does not have a middle seam, all other tapes do.
There is no way to remove it. The gap between the countertop and the edge is acceptable

The whole length of tape is covered with the words "Cherry Blossom. " The tape is beautiful, but ruined by its words. Would it be helpful if I had the actual words recorded on It makes no sense at all. It appears that someone didn't plan the design very well. Spending money that is not necessary.
We had a major problem. Everything went well with the installation. A bigger roll of this appears to have been cut off and put in a plastic bag. An 8 x 8 in strip did not have adhesive near one end. So, the back of my sick needs a patch job where i had to cut the tape where the sticky ran out and then lay down the last few inches from when it popped up for the last time.
The backsplash in my kitchen sink was in need of a makeshift. The product stuck quite well and has fared well in that position, as you can see in pic 2. To make it waterproof, it also had to stick to the top of the backsplash (pic 1). Considering that it wouldn't stay attached, I took off the tape and threw it away. In pic one, it's visible on top of the tape but the tape is not visible. It wouldn't stay attached even when I put on a shelf at the edge. I am really disappointed by this.
If you make a mistake with alignment, the clear caulking strip tape can easily be reapplied. Added extra tape around curves and it has lasted a month so far, with a couple of showers a week and a weekly cleaning. I was pleased with the results. I am pleased.
Totally awful. It didn't stick at all and I had to wait for 24 hours before it started to soak up water.
It keeps the water off my sink and sticks well. I highly recommend this.
If you want the adhesive to hold longer, warm it with a hair dryer or even a lighter. Almost cannot tell that it is there because it blends well with the caulk.
The adhesive works well on straight lines, but it doesn't work well with curves, like around the bathroom sink or the front of a toalet. It gets curly after a couple hours, even if you heat it In any case, working with it along straight lines is amazing, it adheres well to straight lines and has been standing for two weeks.
