What type of ceiling will this cling to? Will it stick to PVC, drywall or wood? What is the mold resistance of this product?
No problem, it's fine. The sticky substance is very difficult to remove.
Is this enough to cover the ceiling around a new pvc plank installation in the bathroom?
There should be a better adhesion between this material and PVC than other materials

We wrapped it around the toilet and placed it on the bath tub edge. With the heat gun, I pushed it over for only a few seconds, and the seal was really sealed. Thanks for buying it! We're glad we did!.

There are no waterproof materials! You can put a shower tub in the bathroom

It's impossible to stick caulk to concrete

There's no doubt in my mind that it should not have come off so easily. For a couple months it was fine until it started to detach from the shower head.
