The length of the line is 14' 6" (approximately 4. 5 meters long). It would be more useful if it had a 20' line, but it's still a fantastic tool. When the line is finished, it smooths out.

Plumb bob is a very useful tool

This device's needle works well on both drywall and wood. It also comes with a powerful magnet for any steel work. Different weight bobs can have their tension adjusted. It can also be used in tight spaces, such as between stop jambs. It was used to place masonry arch forms five feet above windows. It was a lot easier to center the forms this way.

This is a great product that does exactly what it says it will. The only flaw I've found is that when first mounted, the plumb bob slides out on its own. It's not a major issue, but it can be inconvenient at times.

This product was purchased to help with the installation of new pre-fabricated homes. doors and jambs that have been hung Aside from levels, a good old-fashioned plumb bob is unbeatable. During the installation of 11 new doors and jambs, this device probably saved me two to three hours.
