The smallest calibration is 1/100 of a foot. Yes, you're right. Furthermore, the shoes come with a set of The calibration is in inches.
Taking your time, you can get to 6ft if you ease the tape out
A tape has two scales, a decimal scale and an inch scale. One foot is divided into 10 parts on the decimal scale, and one foot is equal to 12 inches on the inch scale. 1 ft is equal to 10 on the decimal scale or 10ths scale.

Because of this, I didn't spend much time looking at the tape when I ordered it. I started using it to do a wood working project. Made several mistakes since it has a 1/10 foot scale on one side. I thought I was reading inches when I should have been reading 7/10 of a foot not 7 inches. Luckily, I adjusted the reading side after I noticed, but I don't understand why anyone would use a scale that is one tenth of a foot? A sharp black line was drawn over the side of the cardboard so that I would not forget, and no one else could make the same mistake. This is now a backup, and I purchased a standard vs metric tape like I'm used to. In addition, the color is not as shown in the pictures. The picture shows green accents, I received yellow, not a big deal, but could be a problem.
It's tough to get through the engineering side. In this case, I'm an idiot because I accidentally bought a measuring tape with engineering units on one side, making this tape measure difficult to use in an American woodshop, where everything is in feet/inches and centimeters/millimeters. In spite of that one little hiccup, I think this is by far the best tape measure I have ever used. In addition to gliding smoothly, the tape is strong over distances, and its magnetic end adds an extra touch of usefulness. I like how sturdy the casing is and how solid it feels in my hand. There is really nothing to complain about with this device. In terms of ruggedness and quality, this is a great product This way there is no concern about how much abuse it can handle since it is of such high quality.
Detailed information is not available on each side of this tape the printing is not on each side. As far as contrast goes, yellow's not very contrasting, and it doesn't necessarily make the numbers harder to read. For the last decade, I've used Komelon tapes, and after switching to another brand, I realized I made a mistake. Apparently the tape on the other brand was bent by the plastic frame and now the last 2 to 3 feet are folded over. This has never happened with a Komelon tape. In spite of the lack of double side printing and the low contrast, this is a high quality tool no matter where it came from. This is a Product of Korea that is assembled in China by the way. It should come as no surprise. On top of that, this hook is not equipped with a nail/screw hole, which is perfect for when you work.
By rotating the tape measure I am able to measure and cut materials directly in relation to the reading from In addition to the green color of the tape measure, it makes it easier to remember. The problem is that I always end up leaving it in the attic or workshop, so I probably need about six more.
A decent tape measure, but it is clearly stated in the item description that it is double-sided. There are a few engineering tapes with both sides printed. I expected it to be like that.
By using a magnetic foot and side wings on the foot that hook on to the edges of the tape, it is made better. When welding up steel squares, this feature makes it easy to measure corner to corner. A magnetic foot is useful for laying out mounting hardware on the ceiling of a walk-in closet Put cooler box with food in. The method of measuring adjoining walls can be performed one-handed. There are fewer bulkier units on this tape, which I appreciate, as I tend to lose bulkier units while working. While they don't have a huge amount of "stand out" features, the trade off is they aren't overly beefy. It hasn't been necessary for me to do anything better at As with fractions, I have found that using feet and tenths instead of fractions has a significant impact on the number of guys that I can trust to get a good cut. I have found this concept to be beneficial to It would be nice to have a unit longer than 25 feet when it comes to drop-resistant plastic units for outdoors. In addition to the chrome 33 foot unit, a smaller 33 foot unit is kept in reserve for.
Tape measures are among my favorite tools, and I use this one quite a bit. Despite its small size, smooth surface, light weight, and long length (35 feet), it is magnetized on one end. I have found that useful in unexpected ways. In my job as a surveyor, my tapes can get wet, muddy, dirty, and icy. I am happy with how things are going right now. If you could make the color brighter, that would be great. Weeds make it easy for a tape measure to go missing. In contrast with this one, the Luftkins' orange stands out nicely, but their tap does not work as well.
