This is metal. No other parts of the tape measure should be made of plastic, but the knob part can be locked through.
An inch in width is 3/4 inch long.
There are yellow and black markings on the blade.
There is no centimeter scale present - in that case. It only covers the American markings (1/32, 2/16, 3/8, 2/4, etc.).

Having an inferior measurement system is why I decided on a new one. reviewed tape measures, and the Stanley stood out from all other models, so I made the purchase. It was not until I looked more carefully or became aware of the fact that it only had imperial measurements (inches) that I decided to buy it. Since this model is not a hybrid, I take heart in the fact that I live in a world where both kinds of measurement are necessary. you need more than 1 start, you can use this tape measure without needing metric. The lock has been adjusted smoothly as needed while it makes for a reasonable lock, but if it is forced, you can move the piece. A small concern is the design of the casing, which is made of plastic, which if it were to break, would probably tear.
Since I build custom cabinets for them, this tape is the best that I've come across. My business has used one I got a decade ago when I bought this one. The book is lightweight and accurate, and it makes reading quick and easy. When I'm going to fine-tune the gradations of a tape piece, I can't afford to keep letting the gradations get blurred. This tape measure can get the job done. Cabinets do not need more than 16 feet of tape for making them.
There's nothing to this. It is the exact tape measure my husband needed for replacing in his cabinet. Additionally, it has a lock button as well.
In my business lifetime, I have never looked better at what Stanley tools offer than I do today. As a matter of fact, they are of superior quality, durable, and accurate. Since 1911, Stanley has been manufacturing high-quality tools that are of the highest quality. This is not a fail!!.
However, I somehow ended up killing it by overextending it. This one is good because it is at my size, and I'm less likely to overlength it when I have one 16' long. products and a good company to work with. You will probably find that the plastic version is heavier, but more durable.
This tape is the right size, unlike most other tape available in the market that are "fat".
This is one good 16 foot length (16’) and a nice action set. There is only one negative- the packaging. The device is designed for people who dislike drugs. An aisle was ripped from the furniture at a hardware store. don't cut yourself with this. . . . well, good luck removing it without cutting yourself!.
It is extremely accurate, and I have been using this tape measure for many years. With it, you can easily extend it as well as retract it.
