Is the EXV, or electronic expansion valve, in mini split inverter systems calculated correctly? In the outdoor unit, they have an expansion valve. ?

Yes, an EXV unit can be charged. However, do not change the charge on an INVERTER (mini split) unit. The refrigerant must be weighed in according to the manufacturer's specifications for inverter compressors. This is due to the fact that the required subcooling is modulated rather than constant.

Is the target superheat calculated?

Yes, it accounts for both r22 and r410 superheat and subcooling. It can also calculate duct sizes and do a lot more.

Does the fact that the 20 pack is described as "New and Improved" imply that this particular rule is not the improved version?

All of the SuperCools have been "upgraded." This simply indicates that it is the most recent version. We add something every year or two (such as last year's Fahrenheit to Celsius converter). As a result, you'll be getting the most up-to-date model. br>Many thanks to the SuperCool Team.br>

Some areas are rendered useless due to stickers and barcodes

This item is fantastic in and of itself; my husband used it at school and enjoyed the information and ease of use. The problem with this one is that it has an Amazon sticker on the back that makes some of the text unreadable. Although it was a warehouse sale, the Amazon stickers have caused more damage than the listing indicates. I'm trying to order a new one from Amazon.

It's a good idea to have some of these tools in your truck

All day long, $20 is worth it! For HVAC techs, this is a good companion. In a small package, it contains a lot of useful information. The layout is excellent. There are many electric formulas in this book. New technicians will benefit from this refrigerant troubleshooting information. When I'm checking air flow to ensure proper sizing, I like to keep this handy. br>br>Also includes a scan bar code for a free download of the APP. Thank you very much.

SuperCool and SuperTool are two words that come to mind when thinking of SuperCool and Super "Wow"; "Wow"; "Wow"; "Wow" This card is the most useful tool I've seen in a long time, and no tech should be without it, regardless of how long they've been in the trade

It is covered in various formulas and equations. Troubleshooting txv with Ohms law and other nonsense. That sort of thing. There's even a ductolator and a point chart included. It's well-made, and it's simple to read and operate. Mine is fraying a little at the edges. Overall, this is a fantastic item to have in my service truck or tool bag.
