Product Description

By entering your model number, you can make sure that this fits.
The Inspiritech TG-5LR-1 self-leveling laser level is 2 times brighter than standard red lasers thanks to green laser beam technology. It employs a long-lasting and reliable high-intensity laser transmitter that brightens and extends the laser line. It has solutions for a wide range of projects, including construction, picture hanging, cabinet installation, ceiling work, and all types of home renovations.
: The floor, walls, and ceiling of your working space are all covered by one 110° horizontal and two 360° vertical planes. Two 360° vertical lines intersect at 90° angles, allowing the user to quickly visualize and complete square ceiling layouts. Users can adjust the horizontal laser line's projection direction with a 360° manually rotary base, allowing for 360° horizontal leveling around the room.
: For inclines greater than 3°, this laser level self-levels and indicates out-of-level by flashing and beeping. The top of the laser level has a bubble indicator that indicates if it is on a level surface. By pressing the "OUT" key for three seconds, the self-leveling function is disabled and the pendulum is locked, allowing the user to position the laser tool at any angle and project non-level straight lines with no indications.

Questions & Answers

Why does it have a plumb bubble on top and adjustable legs if it's supposed to be a self-leveling laser?

There is a limit to how much self-leveling can be done. If the surface is extremely uneven, you may need to adjust the legs to get the bubble into the circle.

Why is it that green is so much more expensive than red? Why would you pay an additional $30 for the color?

Hi there: br>Thank you for contacting us with your inquiry. Green lasers are more visible than red lasers, and laser transmitters are more expensive. A 6000mAh lithium-ion battery is included with our green laser level. Lithium-ion battery, which is also more costly.

What's the best way to get a new battery?

All Inspiritech tools are covered by a one-year warranty. If the laser tool is still under warranty, simply let us know the model and date of purchase, and we will check and send you a replacement battery for free. If you are outside of the warranty period, please contact us for more information before we send you a replacement.

Is it necessary to align the zero marker with the arrow in order to get precise vertical lines on the wall and ceiling?

Hi there:
No. Before it leaves the factory, it goes through a correction process. When you first use it, the lines are usually perfectly vertical or horizontal.

Features that are incredible I'm doing a bigger renovation in my house and this level has been extremely useful
5/5

Here's the link to my unboxing video on Amazon (I'm very impressed with the level and performance. ) The construction is solid and sturdy, with a nice rubbery textured surface throughout. This is something that Inspiritech has given some thought to. The highlights are as follows: The Advantages: br> (there are many)br>1) The level has a leveling bubble on top of the unit to make leveling the unit easier. br>2) It quickly acclimates to the new environment. br>3) It has "flat touch buttons" on the top that allow you to choose which lasers are active. If you only need the front horizontal and/or vertical line, there's no need to put them all on at once. br>4) It has twistable little legs that you can use to fine-tune the leveling. br>5) The device is mounted on a rotating base that rotates 360 degrees. The unit can be rotated by hand or fine-tuned using the micro adjustment knobs on the left and right of the base. br>6) In all light conditions and on a variety of surfaces, the green beams are very visible. Drywall, tile floors, concrete floors, bricks, and wood are all available in a variety of colors. br>7) A point on the ceiling connects all of the vertical lines. br>8) The luggage is well-padded and sturdy. It also has a lot of interior space. br>9) The unit can be powered by the included rechargeable battery or 3 AA batteries (if mobility is required), or it can be plugged into the wall and run indefinitely using the included charging cable. br>10) Both horizontal and vertical lines are perfectly straight. With my 6ft, I was able to confirm them. 4 ft and box level the height of the beam br>11) Removable feet for simple mounting on tripods or quick release plates. br>br>Contrary to popular belief, there are a number of disadvantages to using this product. br>1) There is no 360 horizontal line because the unit is only projected on one side. br>2) It would be nice if it came with a 5/8" to 1/4" threaded screw adapter for standard tripods. I had to go out and get it on my own.

Overall, I'm very happy with my purchase and can 100% recommend it to anyone looking for a high quality green laser at a reasonable price!.

The laser is excellent, with bright green lines that outperform Dewalt
5/5

The vertical and horizontal lines are a bright green color that is visible in any light. This laser is fantastic for laying tile on floors and walls! It has a micro adjustment that allows you to move the vertical line by very small amounts. It creates a vertical line that runs across the floor, up the wall in front of the unit, and across the ceiling. The horizontal line crosses the vertical line at an angle of about 180 degrees. This tool outperforms a Dewalt I bought previously.

This is something I would recommend to almost anyone
4/5

What I liked about it:
- 1) It performs admirably, at least in terms of any home and DIY applications I can think of. Is it up to the task of more demanding work in a professional setting? I'm not sure what I'm saying. I've never spent over a grand on equipment to see what the difference is.
- 2) It is less costly.
- 3) Power options that can be changed at any time. It comes with a Lithium battery, but it can also be used with standard AA batteries, and it can be charged using the included DC adapter.
- 4) In addition to the standard horizontal mode, it also has additional vertical modes. br>br>There are a few things I don't like, but none of them have proven to be particularly useful. This is what I didn't like:br>- 1) The knob for turning on or off the light. The ON position's labeling is reversed, with "NO" written on it. Sure, if you turned your head upside down, it would say "ON," but you'd get dizzy, and the "OFF" label would be incorrect anyway. The knob is also set up so that the larger, squared-off, and overhanging end faces the labels, while the pointier end faces away. I'm not sure what the standards are in China, where this is sourced, but at the very least in the United States, The knob's pointy end should point to the relevant label rather than overhanging and obscuring it. I understand that not everyone in China speaks English, but when a large part of your business model is to sell in the United States, you should hire a consultant to iron these things out.
- 2) When you first turn the knob to on (or should I say "NO"), the unit will automatically turn on a LASER. I'd rather have it default to no LASER on and then allow the user to engage the LASER(s) he or she wishes to use using the top soft switches. This would help prevent the LASER from shining in an unwanted direction by accident. When I turn it on now, all I do is cup my hand over the top. That's straightforward, but I'd simply engineer the problem away.
- 3) It's nice that there's a degree scale on the top that spins on the base, but it's attached to the top. This means you won't be able to "zero" the scale in a specific situation. Of course, you could just make your own index mark on the stationary mount and do simple addition or subtraction to get the same result, but "zeroing" it first would be faster, easier, and less error prone. br>- 4) The documentation provided is a little sparse. It could, for example, do a better job of explaining the "OUT" button. The short, sweet, and to-the-point explanation is that it turns off the out-of-level alarm, allowing you to use the unit in an intentionally tilted position. Another flaw is the lack of adequate description of the tripod mount. The threading isn't mentioned anywhere. Yes, the thread pitch is 5/8, but what is it? It doesn't say (and neither does the Amazon product description page). So, near the end of this review, I'll have more to say about that. br>br>After all is said and done, I find the unit to be more than capable for my needs at a price I can justify, and the flaws are mostly minor and easy to live with or work around. This section is for those who are interested in using a tripod, which I believe is the majority of people. After all, who wants to enlist the assistance of a friend to try to keep it still at the desired height, or improvise a custom stand for each job? It's not me, I assure you. I already own a good tripod that I use for photography and other purposes, so I didn't consider the manufacturer's option. I did look at it to see what kind of threading it uses, but it wasn't specified for that product either. In addition, at the time of my search, the product was unavailable. I wouldn't worry about it because it appeared to be a piece of junk in the first place. So, without further ado, here's how to thread a level in 5/8-inch diameter. 11 UNC. That makes sense because this is a common size for tripods marketed for the industrial market. Most consumer tripods, on the other hand (if they even have the ability to change heads), are modeled after professional tripods and are threaded in 3/8-inch threads. 16 °C, or a quarter of a degree 20 UNC. Both of these are available with my tripod. Almost all cameras, with the exception of the very large ones, are 1/4-inch threaded. 20 UNC. In any case, I needed a 3/8-inch drill bit. 16 females aged 5 to 8 years old Adapter with 11 threads. I found one on Amazon and purchased it. Here's how to get there: br>br> Mic stand thread adapters are widely available at lower prices, with some involving 3/8 and 5/8 thread pitches, but the 5/8 on those is a very fine 27 thread pitch! Those will not (and should not attempt to) thread into this level. br>br>Best of luck!.
