Huepar Cross Line Laser Level, Green 360° Horizontal and Two Vertical Lines, Self-Leveling Alignment Multi Line Laser Tool, Li-ion Battery with Type-C Charging Port & Hard Carry Case Included - B21CG

I'm a self-employed business owner. AV and network equipment installer on the job. I've always thought that having a laser level for laying out in-home projects would be useful. It's probably overkill to use this to line up wall plates and level TVs, but it could be useful there as well. Because my primary use of this device is for lines on the ceiling, rather than levels and squaring around the walls or tile floors (though it does work there, too), I prefer the beam layout. br>br>After looking into Hilti, Bosch, Dewalt, Klein, and other brands, I couldn't justify the green laser prices ranging from $400 to well over $1000. I'm getting what I need from this Huepar B03CG in terms of functionality: 3 green laser planes that can be activated individually or in any combination, as well as a solid, attractive build quality to impress my customers. For my particular needs, I couldn't justify the cost of the remote control or some of the other features. br>br>After deciding on Huepar, deciding on the best model proved difficult. Without going into the rotary models, this model appears to be the newest and best of this style. It has a 6-hour battery life and is USB-powered. A hard case, as well as a USB port (which I can use with my external battery pack). The DT03G, GF360G, 603CG, 903CG, and 503CG either had a shorter battery life or didn't have the handy USB-C port. If you don't have a C port, you won't be able to use your hard drive The "slope functions" on the DT03CG and bluetooth on the 603CG-B were two features I didn't use. BT, as well as the ability to run on AA batteries (USB-C). C appears to be a better compromise). I chose the green lines because they were more visible than the red lines, which had a longer battery life. Although 503DG came in second, the laser is located in a different location. br>br>I hope this information is useful to others.

When I was looking for a less expensive alternative to some of the other green laser levels on the market, I came across Huepar by accident on Amazon. I've had their 902 model laser for nearly four years and use it on a daily basis at work. It can be left on for hours during the day, and with lithium batteries, it can last for about two weeks before needing to be replaced. I was excited to try out the rechargeable version when I saw it. So far, it has performed admirably, and after a busy week of work, the battery counter has barely dipped below the bar. I've also tested it against my old laser to see if it's still accurate, and it is! My old laser has been kicked and knocked around a lot over the years, but it still works perfectly! These laser levels are unbeatable in terms of value and functionality!.

I'm writing this review while still debating whether or not to keep the device; it's a fun toy, but I'm not convinced it's worth keeping. It was chosen because of its brighter green laser and the possibility of seeing it without a receiver outside. This is far from the case. In direct sunlight, the line vanishes after two feet. It might work if you could complete all of your layouts at dusk or night. As it stands, the green laser has no advantage over the red laser in terms of visibility in daylight. At night or indoors, the laser has plenty of power. The laser line does experience some significant divergence at distances greater than about 25 feet, which is the only flaw. At 25 feet, the line is almost an eighth of an inch thick, and it gets close to a quarter inch as it gets further out. That's probably fine if you're laying out landscaping and possibly some hardscape, but if you're relying on the laser for indoor precision work or trying to figure out drainage in a flat area, it might be pushing it. I have a green laser pointer that runs on two AAA batteries and can be seen in daylight, so the color of the laser level could be seen in daylight if photon concentration was high enough. Long-distance divergence is also lower with the laser pointer. Perhaps using a rotating polygon mirror scanner instead of the static conical mirror they currently use would improve laser levels. However, this would significantly increase the cost of the devices. I'm still debating whether the green laser version of this device is worth it; if I'm going to need a receiver and a grade rod anyway, the red laser would do the job for a lot less money.

I bought this for a variety of projects around the house, including decking, tile, framing, flooring, and so on. I haven't used it much yet, but my initial impressions and uses are that it's a great laser level. The terrain appears to be rough. As expected, it works well. It's a good thing to calibrate. In most lighting conditions, a bright green laser can be seen. It's difficult to see in the bright sun, but most lasers are destroyed by it. Green is a color I like. Red is more difficult to see. The laser level comes with a nice carrying case and a type-in feature. As described in the description, the C charging cable has a USB plug. It also came with a magnetic mount and a small plastic targeting card, but if you don't already have one, I think a tripod would be a good addition. Other mounts are available from Huepar as well. I'm not sure if I'll get them or if I'll just make do with what I have. Most proprietary clamps could be replaced for less money with some shop clamps and creativity. br>I chose the three-laser version because I like how it can be used as a plumb bob because the lasers intersect above and below. Otherwise, I would have probably saved money and gone with the two-laser model. However, now that I have this one, I'm glad I got the one I did. There are no obvious flaws or low-quality parts. If the situation worsens, I'll update this review.

Thank you for taking the time to review this laser. I purchased it based on the reviews of others. Today, I got my package. It arrived with a fully charged battery, and like any excited child, I had to open it and play with it right away. It's a great tool that's also very simple to use. I figured it out in about a minute. The only thing I needed to look up in the manual was the location of the front-mounted auto level lock and unlock button. I should have known, but I'm still new to this. br>br>Visibility was excellent on this device, and if I had to complain about anything, it would be that there are small gaps in the laser (very small) due to the bracket sticking out of the cube on all four corners, but I imagine that is pretty standard. br>br>I hope this review helps someone save a lot of money and buy this unit because it is professional quality.
