Given the price, this unit isn't bad, but it's far from the "end all" of value laser levels. It didn't matter if it happened in the Q or not. One buyer asked why the line was not continuous and had breaks in it in a section or in a previous review, and I determined that this was due to a minor design flaw. The LEDs are contained within a "cage" that keeps them safe. One in each corner of each "cage" is a support post. The light is blocked by these support posts, which causes a break in the projected line. My guess is that the LEDs aren't rotating laser LEDs, but rather stand still, so the emitted light doesn't wrap around the obstruction. Second, the housing is said to be made of ABS in the product description. ABS is a high-impact plastic that's been used in baseball batting helmets for a long time. I could be mistaken, but the housing doesn't feel like ABS to me. It appears to be more like HIPS (High Impact Poly-Styrene) than HIPS (High Impact Poly-Styrene). Although styrene provides some impact resistance, it falls short of ABS. br>br>Last but not least, and the reason for the two-star rating: The charger that comes with it gets five stars. I ended up purchasing a third-party charger from Amazon (the included charger appeared to be cheap and flimsy). The cells were held in place by springs, which gave me a lot of confidence. I thought springs from retractable ballpoint pens would have worked better. I haven't had the unit long enough to comment on the included Li ion batteries' longevity. br>br>In conclusion, as a DIY home owner, I will use the unit and make sure to use a builders square to fill in gaps in the green line. As previously stated, I upgraded my Li ion charger, so I am now confident that the batteries will 1) charge properly and 2) charge safely.

I purchased this laser level for tile work and am very pleased with the quality and function of it, especially when compared to other brands that cost $300 to $500 or more! There are a variety of line functions available. It's great for a variety of building projects! It comes with a number of accessories, all of which are neatly packaged in a carrying case. A second set of rechargeable batteries is included as well. The batteries are 18650 type lithium ion batteries, which are widely available, so you won't have any trouble replacing them when they run out! It comes with a variety of mounting options, including a magnetic mount. Its laser lines are extremely bright (which can be adjusted) and easily visible in bright areas. Overall, this is a high-quality, practical tool with which I am very pleased.

  The position of this laser level is set automatically. The batteries arrived charged and with a USB charger, which saves a great deal of time. After moving loads on my house to new columns, I was able to use this to measure on the walls and confirm that my floors were level. I'm also planning on using it to create a second story deck in the near future. It will be far superior to leveling and using a tape measure to be able to mount it and cut the posts from that high up. I like the carrying case because it allows me to store everything in one place in my garage. It could level and square because the laser was bright and the cornering beams were very cool.

The construction quality appears to be of poor quality. The base is made of solid cast metal and has a nostalgic wrinkle finish. In addition, the unit's plastic body appears to be quite durable. It was simple to use, though a little more instruction on how to use the included attachments could have been provided. Even though I'm not a laser level expert, I was able to figure out the majority of them. The magnetic mount is particularly useful because it includes all of the necessary adjustments. It appears that I wasn't the only one having a good time with this tool; our cat had to join in the fun as well!.

Because I work outside and rarely in the shade, it's difficult for me to see the green lines, which aren't particularly bright. Everything you'll need to get started on everything from DIY home improvement projects to commercial work is included in the case. This is a product for brand new business owners.

It may be overkill to use it to hang pictures, but you won't find a more convenient or level method. br>It's very simple to use and, as far as I can tell, it's fairly accurate. To my eyes, at least. br>I'm not sure how well it'll hold up on a construction site, but it's perfect for home and light use.

I never had to move the laser while laying tile in a large room. br>The level has settings to switch from North to South. The remote can be used to move from south to east and west. Using the 360 laser level, I also hung pictures at the same height on two different sides of the room. br>I like how it comes with a variety of bases. It's great that the batteries are rechargeable and that it comes with a spare set. The batteries are capable of holding a charge for an extended period of time. The light beam has a strong intensity. The carrying case is useful for storing the level and attachments while also protecting them.
